Schiavo's comments or LKL about the reason the Schindlers are doing this (he said "to make my [his] life a living hell) is a classic sign of an abuser. He blames EVERYONE else for his pain, even Terri for being alive. He has NO responsibility for his own pain (self-serving) and blames others for the pain he causes them. Textbook example of an abuser. That tramp Jodi deserves everything she gets. I hope she gets worse than what Terri got.

You have to remember that the hospital was defending itself against a lawsuit for malpractice. Certain things might not have come up but, since her medical records were routinely cleaned out at other facilities over the years, the same could have happened where she was OR at the very least, someone "misfiled" or "information" didn't come around when it was supposed to, and nobody followed up. There are many cases, and this is one where it was deliberate, that a person falls through the cracks.

If he did take her anywhere out of the state, it was probably to try to dump her somewhere, or looking for a place to kill her and leave her and say she was kidnapped or something. He probably realized he would never get away with it...husband of disabled wife "suddenly" finds her missing? No way. I would love to see proof that he took her anywhere. Also, you have to remember that he has a history of getting her medical records "doctored, cleaned out, sanitized" to present a distorted view of her progress, treatments, etc. This is why people who have not actually examined her (only her records) say what they have to say about her. Why did Dr. Baden change his mind?

My understanding is that the child was conceived as a result of an adulterous relationship. I am still trying to find out more.

Where did you get this info - or is it just an assumption?

I didn't think that the hospital was sued.

Rather, my understanding is that her doctor(s) who was treating her before the 'event' was sued . . . for not having had certain lab work done that would have detected her problem.

If my info is correct, why would you then falsly accuse the hospital of even having a motive to destroy records.

In any case, it's illegal to destroy records that have been requested as a part of a law suit.

MS is a bully, plain and simple, and Felos wants to make a name for himself so he can let more people know how important he is. Those are the main players, although I do think there is something up with Suncoast Hospice, and whether it is to their advantage to keep up the charade at this point, as far a Terri's case is concerned, or whether they might cut their losses and get out to save the rest of their (apparently corrupt) operation, remains to be seen.

If you think Michael Schiavo is telling the truth about Terri's wishes to not be kept alive in such a state, then why does he refuse to take a lie detector test?

If you think that Michael has nothing to hide here, then why does he want her body immediately cremated upon her death, with no autopsy being performed?

Also, if he has nothing to hide, then why doesn't he release her medical records?

We are talking about a man that is so sick and demented here that he wouldn't even allow Terri to have last rights.

You really are stupid. Don't you know how to READ? Of course the hospital was sued! If you know ANYTHING at all about litigation, the basic process of filing a malpractice suit in MOST, if not ALL jurisdictions is, you file suit against the hospital as well as the doctor IF the EVENT happened at a hospital and NOT a doctors office.

Also, there are affidavits on file from locations that Terri stayed that her records were cleaned out by Schiavo and others who helped him. One nurse in particular gave detailed notes about Terri's care and they were REMOVED from her records.

Unless of course, you are siding with Schiavo, that EVERYONE ELSE is a liar.

Why don't you educate yourself on the facts. I live in Bradenton. I have been following this case and did some research on my own. Schiavo is a monster. Who are you? Jodi the tramp? Or, Schiavo himself? Or his sleazy lawyer?
People posting on these threads know the history/story. You don't.

If you know the history, you will see that no one accused the "hospital" of destroying records in regards to the malpractice suit. I said that they were only acting on the scope of charges in the suit. Anything else that might have happened to Terri was not explored.

The records "cleaning" came AFTER the jury awarded money to both of them and he refused to get her therapy like he promised.

Jumping in here. Did I miss the news that HINO removed feeding tube from his parents????? True? What was the result???

This monster just gets uglier and uglier!! Did LK do any good at all (I have my doubts and no TV).

LK could have done better. He didn't prepare. I myself and many other sent him documentation. This was pretty much a one-sided, creampuff interview, with no teeth. I would like to see Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly interview him. Maybe even Chris Matthews. Greta would be good too.
