If she can respond like that, I wonder if they dare ask her if her husband tried to strangle her 13 years ago as has been alleged? Of maybe they have?

This could also be the reason Greer has forbidden the use of a communication board. Those "involuntary" movements might incriminate somebody.

I worked in a home for the mentally retarded when I was first married in 1973. There was a woman I took care of who was middle aged then, her name was Lillian. She was completely unable to care for herself; apparently was brain injured. She communicated by means of a message board. She could tell you what she wanted or answer questions by pointing to that area on the board with a wooden pointer which looked like a drumstick. It fit nicely in her hand which was unable to open completely, but she could use that stick now! She even would tell you she would give you a whipping with that stick. She could tell jokes, ask for a Dr. Pepper which was her favorite drink, heck she could do LOTS of things with that board. Of course sometimes, we couldn't tell what she wanted, and that was a shame. Perhaps it wasn't on the board.
