It's a new lawsuit; introduced but not much more than that right now, it seems.

The people who say "no way could this be true" have never worked in the medical field, or have no family member or close friend who does.

"Please note the dates when the affidavits were taken. None of these nurses are dead. "
Maybe it was just a rumor then. I've heard repeatedly the last few days that they are "no longer with us."

Do you work in the healthcare field?

So he was never cross-examined when he made the statement about Terri's wishes. I thought as much.

You don't even have to say anything ... but three acquaintances could testify that they heard you say that you did "not want to live that way," and upon your temporary incapacitance, thus provide the evidence for the State of Florida to kill you; dare I say, "Even worse ..." to kill you by starving you to death.
That, according to the judges in Florida, is the wish of the people of Florida.
To quote the modern proverb:
Don't go there.

You can laugh at me if you want to but I think this is a spiritual battle. Believe me, Sandra, I would not laugh at your statement. Its a miracle that Terri is still alive after all that's been done to her.
Some good will come of this yet. God does not let someone suffer like this without a purpose (even if His purpose isn't evident).
I can't remember who said it, but I believe this is true: God answers all our prayers. He may not give us the answer we want, but He does answer.

Indeed, what the judges have invented, is a new form of partial-life abortion. To be humane, they should order drug-caused euthanasia; but to create the illusion that you are dying on your own accord by your own inability to live, they resort, instead, to starving you to death.
It's the same twisted thinking that judicial activists use to support partial-birth abortions, by such judges' invention that as long as the brain remains in the womb, you're not born ... yet ... and if the brain does not survive the trip exiting the "birth canal" or "birth portal" or "from behind the magic vail" ... the illusion is completed that the infant died of its own accord.

I have a question ----since you question the validity of these affidavits, can you give me a reasonable assumption why these three women would lie? I can't think of one, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.
Also, have you ever worked in the healthcare profession?

"My son couldn't have committed the crime. He was with me all night," when sonny boy was out murdering or raping someone (and sometimes both). Interesting example. The motive for lting appears to be plainly obvious in that case.

P.S.
The State Department ought to post a WARNING about going to Florida; Don't Go, You Could Wake Up Dead!

Or any kind of communication even yes-no that is sufficient to recount what happened. No, she'd need more than that. Otherwise, her lawyer'd have to be very careful to not "lead the witness"----very difficult to do with only "yes" and "no" responses.

I though Florida law was "clear and convincing evidence" in lieu of a living will to be "allowed to die".

Understand..I am a doctor, and I have been in these facilities. I'm not saying this is wrong and untrue, I'm saying, investigate. I think that there is plenty of reason to do so (I think they call it 'probable cause'). I want the truth behind this, and it should be a matter worth an acute and through investigation. Before I condemn my brethern I want to hear facts!
