Agreed. I'm curious what the details are regarding this "Potassium imbalance" that originally caused her heart to stop.
Would the recorded symptoms be similar to those where someone has been injected with Potassium Chloride?
"Too much potassium can send the heart into cardiac arrest. It also acts as a great poison for murderers and mystery novels."

My understanding is that she had a potassium *deficiency*.
This too can result in heart attack.
FWIW, there is commonly a concomittant deficiency in magnesium, which affects the absorption of calcium. This could explain her bonescan, BTW. I know the conventional wisdom on the Terri threads is that he "worked her over"...perhaps he did. But there are other reasonable explanations, which is why it isn't anywhere near enough evidence to result in criminal prosecution.
How would her potassium deficiency occur? Reportedly she had an eating disorder (bulimia) that could have caused the problem.
Doctors who were treating her failed to catch the potassium deficiency in time to prevent catastrophe, that was the basis of the malpractice suit against them.
