Thanks y'all. Here is the letter I sent to Terri's allies (am working on a modified version to send to the opposition).
As an American citizen, I am absolutely horrified by what I am seeing take place in Florida under the guise of "right to die." What is taking place is nothing short of court sanctioned murder.
I have been one of the people who has applauded the efforts that all of you have made on behalf of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, but no one could have been more stunned than I to discover that the "husband" who has a transparently urgent desire to see Terri dead, is STILL allowed to have ANY say whatsoever in decisions regarding her care and rehabilitation, let alone the ONLY say. Meanwhile, the mental anguish being endured by the family that truly loves Terri is being increased exponentially at his hands as he toys with their emotions like so many pawns on a chessboard. Add to that the fact that only those doctors selected by Michael Schivo and George Felos are even allowed to examine Terri, and all information is being withheld from her family. The torturing of Terri's family to such an extreme under these circumstances is cruel beyond measure and would seem to be a criminal act in itself.
The laundry list of conflicts of interest in this case are astonishing. The only thing more astonishing is the possiblity that the very person who may have been responsible for Terri's condition in the first place is not under criminal investigation instead of working as hard as he can to commit what has to be the most public murder in history, and all with the "blessing" of the court and the enablement of the media who are repeatedly lying about Terri's history and medical condition. It is blatantly obvious now that he is making sure that nothing is being done to treat the medical issues that have arisen as a consequence of his most recent attempt to kill his "wife" and is now trying to run out the clock on furthur intervention.
Have you all asked yourselves why it is so important for him to see her dead? I would propose that there are 3 main reasons: 1) Money: there was the settlement and then there is the trust fund. There is life insurance and who knows what offers of money for book and/or movie rights. And by the way, were you aware that George Felos, attorney for Michael Schiavo, is already writing a book on Terri's case? Perhaps he can't collect until it has an ending, huh? Or perhaps he has already collected. It could be that Michael Schiavo just can't afford to have anybody auditing his financial doings. Of course, if he is still Terri's guardian and she dies, he's gotten away scott free and no one is ever any the wiser. 2) The mistress: After having lived in adultery for the past 7 years and producing one child with another on the way, never mind how this alone should have negated any claim Michael might have had to be Terri's guardian, but apparently this woman, pillar of Catholic morality that she is, wants the blessing of the church on her marriage to Michael, which of course couldn't happen if there was a divorce, so the obvious solution is to off the wife to make it nice and proper. (I couldn't believe it either) And 3) Potential for criminal prosecution: If Michael Schiavo had a hand in the trauma that resulted in Terri's brain damage in the first place, doesn't it stand to reason that he would NOT want her to get better. Doesn't it strike you as odd that as soon as he had the financial award, which he swore to spend on Terri's rehabilitation, he began to forbid any kind of rehabilitation or even mental stimulation for her? Doesn't his current flurry of activity strike you as just a bit out of proportion for a man who is concerned for nothing but to "see his wife's wishes" carried out? Doesn't it seem odder still that he had no recollection of those "wishes" until the beginning of his association with George Felos in 1998, 8 years after Terri's initial collapse?
I would propose the possibilty of an additional motive involving George Felos and his association with the Hospice in which Terri is being held. I am not going to engage in wild speculation here, but simply suggest a conflict of interests in the fact that, at the time that Terri was initially admitted to the hospice, having never been diagnosed with a terminal illness, George Felos sat on the board of directors. In addition, it is my understanding that Jay Wolfson, the individual who is currently being considered to act as guardian ad litum in the case, also has ties to the hospice.
There are just SO many things wrong with this case that call for intensive investigation, none of which is more urgent than the immediate removal of Michael Schiavo as primary guardian and sole decision maker on Terri's behalf. I would also not recommend using a fox to guard a hen house either.
Any who haven't already done so, I would urge you to read the affadavit at the following link.
http://www.cnsnews.com/pdf/2003/aff2.pdf This sadistic barbarian has been trying for years to murder his wife. It's just that nobody was paying any attention. PLEASE DON'T ALLOW HIM TO GET AWAY WITH IT!

Most excellent ... and thanks for that. Sorry I haven't been more visible around here lately, but this thing called "work" interferes with my on-line time!
I can't believe the stuff this guy has gotten away with. It's very discouraging.
