"The hundreds of thousands of emails, petitions and phone calls from pro-life people, and Randall Terry's ability to galvanize national media coverage, and apply political pressure endorsing the dignity of innocent human life, turned the tide for Terri." I knew it had to be in the hundreds of thousands. So I made a pretty good guess when I put that in some of emails.

She was married 6 yrs.? I think it was 3 years. She was going to divorce him before this "collapse" occurred. If Michael is not guilty of trying to kill her, then why does he act so guilty? There is very little doubt in my mind that he tried to kill her. I think he might have thought he succeeded, but was shocked to find out later that she was still alive.

How interesting. I'm curious about something. You just registered here in the past 30 minutes and this is the only thread you posted this request on? What brought you to this thread specifically?

This is the first I've heard of divorce. Do you have a source?

I remember a Glenn Beck show maybe a year ago or less. He interviewed a lady who said she'd been dating MS in the first few years after Terri became disabled. She talked about how controlling and verbally abusive MS was towards her (the girlfriend) and she eventually dumped him because he frightened her. I think she said he stalked her after that. Anyway, I remember her talking about Terri's bulimia. She said that Michael was verbally abusive towards Terri and it often was about Terri's weight. She said she thought that was why Terri became bulimic.

huh? He sued her gynocologist? I keep hearing how he has sued this person, that person.... this guy is a sue-happy gold digger! It's my understanding that there were 2 lawsuits .. one settled before going to court and the other settled after the trial started
I have read a number of times that the one that was sued was a gynocologist .. which I don't get

It's 3:50 am, Greta van S. rerun coming on. Just heard the teaser, Greta asks what happened to TS..."natural causes, or was there something fishy?"
To: bonfire
Her brother Bobby said days before she "collapsed" that she told him that she was miserable with Michael and was going to get a divorce. Also, she told a girlfriend about possibly getting a divorce from Michael about the same time.
Sorry, I don't have a link.

What do you think of these questions to Larry King? And maybe other reporters or anchors that like detective work, like Rita Cosby, Judith Miller????
Add or criticize, any help will do, also, I posted on another thread that if I can get a few of the Freepers addys Frmail, I will send $5-$10 for snacks/food/drinks, for those at the vigil, not a big donation drive, just INDIVIDUALLY send the people a few bucks of support, since we cannot all be there??
Whatcha think, all?
Here's the questions for LK:Ideas for Larry King Questions email: (The viewing audience wants to know the truth)
1. Ask Michael Shiavo why he won't disclose yes or no whether or not he has life insurance on Terry? Doesn't even have to say amount, what is he hiding?
2. Ask Michael Shiavo why the feeding tube was put in if he was aware that she "didn't want to live like that"?
3.Ask him why he never mentioned she "didn't want to live like that" until 8 years AFTER she initially entered the hospital?
4. Ask him if he has a reasonable reason for not letting Terri's parents visit her for almost 10 years off and on? And when she had begun to die without food/water?
5. What happened to the promise you made in court (transcript available to verify) that you would spend the $1.3M. malpractice settlement going to school and swearing to "take care of her"?
6. The night she fell to the floor, why did you not begin giving her life support, especially as a medically trained person?
7. On that same evening, why did you not even call 911 for her?
8.Most of all, why can't you allow her parents to care for her like they have begged to do?
9. If you were so aggresive in seeking treatment for her as you claim, why won't you even consider other medical opinions that the parents have obtained, especially from a Nobel Prize nominee?
10. Why would you not even allow her to take last rites after her feeding tubes had been removed?
11. How can you answer why you chose to persue very aggresively her withdrawal of feeding and water, when IN court you swore to use the settlement money, $1.3 M, for "treatment" for her?
12. Can you explain why you also swore in court that doctors had told you she COULD be rehabilitated, and resume possibly a more normal life, which is why you claimed the $1.3 M settlement money for?
13. Can you explain why you refused a substantial amount of money to release Terri, over $1 Million,to her parents care?
I would like to know the answers to these questions, which the media has been incomplete on telling the whole, unbiased story.
Larry King:
I am sure these claims and info can ALL be verified with reading the court documents on their malpractice case, which are public. Also, claims of her parents are public, too.

Don't let the hounds intimidate you. There are a few around here who sniff out newbie "blood" and have a feast. Most of them mean well and are really alright when you get to know them. Of course, there are exceptions, but you'll get to know who they are and avoid them if you stick around. Their barks are bigger than their bites. You have to understand that all newbies are kinda suspect for the simple reason that we get a lot of trolls from the dark side so the attack is kind of a test. Look at it as an initiation of a sort.
Terri has a lot of friends here. I took the liberty of adding your name to the "Terri's Army" ping list, which means that when there are important updates or in some cases, new threads, your name will be added to the "To:" field in the post and that will come up on your "My Comments" page. I have found the best way to keep abreast of the latest posts to you is with the pager. If you click on the following link it will bring up a notification page and open up a little box that you can keep minimized and it will alert you when you have new posts or FReepmail.

Yes, Greta's pet pathologist, Dr. Baden, definitely tried to get the point across, that Terri's injuries should have been investigated.
I don't know what he said on the previous show but he sure has suspicions now.
Nevertheless---I doubt those questions will ever be answered unless Terri regains the power of communication.
What is NOT in doubt is the neglect she suffered afterwards, and the attempt to end her life when she wasn't terminal.

I guess we must have pinged the mod about the same time. LOL! The important thing is the letter itself anyway.

"It would be interesting if Terri became bulemic during her relationship with Michael" There is a taped interview with an ex-girlfriend, one he had prior to the current one. She made a remark about Terri's eating disorder and said something about Terri having been overweight when she was younger and Michael giving her a hard time about it.

If you click on the link and scroll down to the "audio files" and then click on the link where it says "girlfriend" you can hear part of the interview. Pretty chilling.
