I think it was 3 years. She was going to divorce him before this "collapse" occurred. If Michael is not guilty of trying to kill her, then why does he act so guilty? There is very little doubt in my mind that he tried to kill her. I think he might have thought he succeeded, but was shocked to find out later that she was still alive.

I read that when Terri colasped MS didn't call 911, he called Terri's brother, who then called 911.
