Terri's brother, Bobby, just reported that Terri is MISSING!! He has been waiting all day to see her, he got the green light, and she's gone...

News 9 reporter said she's gone back to hospice, but the family does not know where she is and has NO CONFIRMATION.

What do you think of a non-terminal patient being kept in a a Hospice Facility for 3 years?

That raised a huge red flag with me....I have never heard of such!

My thoughts are as follows:

I did suspect this woman of grandstanding. However, in light of MS's most recent public statement where he admitted to verbally abusing the nursing staff ( his concerns for Terri, ya know ) maybe, if he denied any of this verbal abuse as well as Nurse Carla's claims she has something important to say as that would be proof of his perjury. Then I would consider that Nurse Carla may very well be teling the truth.

FLY_SO_FREE RESPONDED: "If that's true, and she's not diabetic ,they can get him. Someone needs to call in a detective, a real good detective, to check into this. You can't just go to the Save-On and buy Insulin over the counter. A doctor has to prescribe it. If Mike Schiavo got insulin, there should be a record. Check his relatives/friends , see if any of them are diabetic, if so-bring them in for questioning ,- Also, the nurses notes from when it was given to her should reflect that she had a "bad" reaction, signs and symptoms of a bad reaction-if it was given to her and she isn't diabetic."

"LOVING" husband Michael trained to become a NURSE after the apparent BOTCHED STRANGULATION so he could "HELP" his wife. If you look at the Nurses' Affidavits, I believe that 2 of them stated they documented numerous positive things in their notes, that Terri did, along with the need to give her DEXTROSE following an apparent INSULIN INJECTION BY "LOVING" husband Michael.

They also documented that he made statements REPEATEDLY, that he WANTED her DEAD, and that he would be RICH when she died! Unfortunately, Michael would REMOVE THE NURSES' NOTES!!!

I'm sure that anyone as resourceful as Michael would have NO trouble getting access to some spare INSULIN...even if it meant someone ELSE would DIE without it!

I have Bible verses e-mailed to me everyday. In fact, it is one of the first things I look for every morning. This is from today:

While I agree with you that the courts determined it could not be proven and gave it no merit, I do not think that you are considering that no one may have bothered to check for injection sites, bruising, etc. because of her husband's orders. Insulin is easy to come by and anyone can buy syringes and so forth. With MS's medical training he may have known how to disguise his actions as well. I am not saying that he is guilty of this but, at this point, I would not be surprised to find it true. Why the nurse didn't come forward or report this, I don't know. Fear maybe? He has admitted to verbally abusing the nursing staff.

It depends on the environment of the facility.

I worked in a combo hospital-nursing home many years ago, and the administrator saw herself as someone akin to Evita or Scarlette O'Hara. There was such a cult of personality around her that people were either living in fear or willing to do anything for her and the facility. Behind closed doors, she was as quite scary.

As bizarre as it sounds, I can see this happening in the right setting.

My mother was an R.N in CA and some of the horror stories that came out about wrong medicines being given out and other things are pretty bad.

My sis was recently in a CA hospital and the nurses were not checking her in/put out/put there was a problem and she got someone to take care of it.

The only way she knew that this was important was due to someone we knew who had recently died in a So CA hospital due to this very thing.

Some of it is due to overworked and understaffed hospitals. The bottom line is the administration of these places want MONEY! That also came directly from my step-father who was head of Urology at Kaiser! And if you make waves you go bye bye!

Yes, and on our prayer, with God working his miracle and hearing all of our prayers, he will guide those who are to advocate and speak for Terri, putting the words in their mouths.

While many have heard that Terri Schiavo's feeding tube has been re-inserted, her life is in eminent danger. Michael Schiavo is still her legal guardian. The would-be murderer is responsible for guarding his own victim! In addition when Terri was moved from hospice, he immediately blocked visitation rights at the hospital for her parents, siblings and family priest - the only source of Terri's comfort, love and joy. An emergency motion ordered visitation restored for the family but it was not received in the attorney's offices until 5:15PM today. By the time the family was able to get down to the hospital, her husband had removed her from the hospital and taken to an "undisclosed location" - we are told perhaps back to hospice. In any case, the family has not been informed - they do not know her medical condition or whether the feeding tube has been reinstated or not. An IV was inserted at approximately 9:30 last night. This is a woman starved for 7 days with no food or water yet Michael has the audacity to remove her from the hospital care! It is an outrage that Michael Schiavo and his attorney feel they can spit in the face of the governor, the Fl House and Senate - and trample Terri's rights with absolutely no regard for her health, happines or wishes. Complaints have been filed through the Department of Health and Human Services yet nothing is being done to protect Terri from physical harm or to assure her rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please take a moment and file your complaint with the Office of Civil Rights.
