I made numerous entries into the nursing notes in her chart, stating verbatim what she said and her various behaviors, but by my next on-duty shift, the notes would be deleted from her chart.

This alone should have state licensing investigators going over the nursing notes in this facility. To alter or delete someone else's notes is a serious violation. I don't know who the administrator is, but they should be held accountable for this infraction. It is too bad this nurse didn't make photo copies of her notes as she went along. God Bless her for her efforts and speaking out.

I am really wondering about the counsel for the parents. She is being outdone at every turn.

Every time I try to hit the exit button, something else is occurring today. LAURA INGRAHAM IS ON 1040 WWBA at night in the Tampa Bay market. Please ping your lists to start listening to Laura Ingraham and try to call her show. I've emailed her re: what's going on in Florida through the radio station, don't have her direct email address.

She's evening -probably replacing the repeat of O'Reilly after Hannity. Thanks. Now I've really gotta go.

It is sounding like the HINO and the maharetchi Felonius are hoping that she will suffer some medical complication, infection or organ damage in which case they still have the authority to deny her treatment. Sick, I know. I just have to trust that something is being done about it. Read over this thread. There is a lot of information here. I'm exhausted. Haven't been eating or sleeping too well the past few days.

At first I discounted her statement as one from a publicity seeker. After MS's press statement where he admitted some of this ( the yelling and ranting ) I thought that maybe she was credible. I wonder if he denied any of this ( even the yelling and ranting at the staff ) before Judge Greer??

I have just wondered how buddy-buddy- are all these judges are in the 6th circuit???? Do they golf together?? How much will their relationships affect their decision making?

I am surprised that some outside "big guns" haven't offered them top-notch legal assistance. I would imagine a case with this much publicity would be desirable for most attorneys. The only reason I can think of why this hasn't been touched is the politics of the entire situation. I suspect there is a great deal of political action behind the scenes that we are not privy to.

This does seem like a good time for some conservative attorneys to make a name for themselves, however they may be afraid of a backlash from the judges in that area.

When Michael visited Terri, he always came alone and always had the door closed and locked while he was with Terri. He would typically be there about twenty minutes or so. When he left Terri would be trembling, crying hysterically, and would be very pale and have cold sweats. It looked to me like Terri was having a hypoglycemic reaction,so I'd check her blood sugar. The glucometer reading would be so low it was below the range where it would register an actual number reading. I would put dextrose in Terri's mouth to counteract it. This happened about five times on my shift, as I recall. Normally Terri's blood sugar levels were very stable due to the uniformity of her diet through tube feeding. It is medically possible that Michael injected Terri with Regular insulin, which is very fast acting, but I don't have any way of knowing for sure.

WHAT!! I am sorry folks, I have been following this story from SoCal but have not read any of the threads regarding Terri. I did hear an interview with her brother late last night on the radio. With that said....where is the criminal investigation into this nurse's report. I'm with you concerned...where are the police to follow up on this. I am an administrator in a care facility in SoCal. I can tell you, if this were happening in my state...husband or no...my yankee derrier would be grass by now, for not reporting the information to state authorities and not maintaining the health and safety of the patient. Holy Mackeral what is going on with the state of Florida, anyway.

"Has the governor made any statement about her being relocated? "

Not that I'm aware of. I haven't seen anything in any thread showing any comment he's made since he ordered the feeding tube reinserted.

Exactly. Ever complaint must be investigated and something like this claim reported. The state would be on site immediately. It should be easy to see if notes missing since they are a continuation. Too bad that she didn't copy her notes though. I feel like I am watching Twilight Zone. What this nurse reports is not standard long term care operations, folks.

Attorney for Husband of Brain-Damaged Woman Outraged at Jeb Bush
By Mitch Stacy Associated Press Writer
Published: Oct 22, 2003

CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - Legal scholars predicted Wednesday that Gov. Jeb Bush's intervention in a bitter right-to-die case involving a brain-damaged woman would be ruled unconstitutional, and the husband's lawyer angrily complained the woman was "abducted from her deathbed."

"It is so repugnant to so many provisions of Florida's constitution, we are all certain that it will be overturned," said George Felos, the attorney for Michael Schiavo.

Any news if Felos has refiled his latest case to Greer, which was dismissed on a technicality?

Even she says "I don't have any way of knowing for sure"

No insulin apparatus discovered, no evidence of Michael having access to insulin or fine needles, No injection site found, no bruising from an injection site, no nothing.

If it happened five times on her shift, and the nurse suspected him of trying to kill her, why didn't she ask that Michael be surrepticiously observed? Why only an affidavit in later years?

Who knows what axe this "nurse" has to grind. I think there is a fair chance she is exaggerating... as in taking a single incident where suspicion crossed her mind, and to make herself feel important has twisted and puffed up her story. She would have to be awfully slow on the uptake to permit such visits to occur repeatedly, doing nothing.

If this is all that supports the screaming hysterical posts claiming as fact that Michael injected her with insulin, then they are full of crap.

If he did, it can never be reliably proved and I'm not surprised the court gave it no weight.

Of course I admit I am probably being too paranoid, but for all we know, MS could be a poster.

Where's Jesse Jackson when you need him? Where's the Hollywood crowd? Where's NOW?

I suppose if Terri had HIV though, instead of brain-damage, and was being starved to death, you wouldn't be able keep a lot of them out of it.

I'm not so sure that Felos and those souls he has "helped out" would be dispatched to the same destination.

I believe that you are correct on that! But don't tell him that lets send him on his way. MCD

Has any effort ever been made to submit this document to the DA in Pinellas county or would it be a city DA? It certainly seems that if this witness is credible, that there is enough here to at least have Michael brought in for questioning while furthur investigation is being done. If these statements are true, then there can be no doubt that he is guilty of attempted murder, at least after the fact, and I would think that the medical personnel that complied with illegal demands would be accomplices. In any event, under NO circumstances should this monster have any control whatsoever over Terri's situation.
