Prayers for Terri
To: lavrenti
"However, he may run the risk of losing any insurance he may have on her."
I don't think it's an insurance matter. Terri's parents offered this creep half a mil to give up custody. He declined. I think it has something to do with welt marks around her neck when she was first injured, along with, if I remember correctly, two broken legs. I believe this man tried to murder her, and he doesn't want her to find a way of communicating this to others. He also indicated a homocidal frustration about her, walking into the hospital and asking, "Is the b*tch dead yet?"
To: BigBobber
"I was wondering about this. If creepo takes her to another state, Bush's stay has no weight, and he can go ahead and kill her."
That's what I'm thinking. He can remove her tubes in a neighboring state, or even worse, go to a state that encourages 'assisted' suicide.

Wow! I just read that thing out to my mom. I wish there were a way of copy-and-paste with acrobat reader.

"Husband Michael Schiavo's attorney angrily complained the woman was being mistreated by attempts to keep her alive"
It was a statement designed to bring nazi/leftist support from the alphabet channels.

No brain function????? Have you seen her EEG's. Have you seen the videos? notice no drooling, it's a conscious action to swallow. (If they had allowed her to be fed my bet would be she can swallow). Ever notice why you drool in your sleep?
NO brain function, my foot. you should be so lucky.

I awakened today with a very bad feeling about this.
Michael (AND others) must have her dead and is hell-bent (so to speak) on making it so. He was NOT simply removed as Terri's guardian, even though he showed himself untrustworthy & in conflict of interest. He is being allowed to continue to bully Terri's family (by some presumably smart, caring people).
Terri is not in a place where she can be monitored or where she will receive appropriate care and support if need be for deteriorated kidney function or sepsis.
This would show up in the lab work that was done at hospital. No wonder they do not want the family to see it.
Michael is a bully, was before, has been all along -- and apparently all I can do is call him names.

Could you do a quick recap? Any news overnight?
When I went to bed, we knew that Michael and Felos were still giving the orders and doing the press conferences, still denying Terri's parents medical info, had removed Terri from the hospital, back to the hospice without telling them.
Even though both sides are supposed to decide together on a guardian for Terri within 5 days, there is NO one from the pro-life side given equal authority / access to Terri while this guardian is being chosen.
I am asking those who helped Terri to keep close to this case until a new guardian is appointed. Asking why Terri's parents don't have equal access in this crucial 5 day period, and reminding Felos, Greer and co that we are watching.

Sad to say, nothing here in Palm Beach County. One of our Representatives in the FL House was a disgrace to herself and everyone that listened with me. Susan Bucher (DEM) is her name.

NRA2BFREE WROTE: "Prayers going up for Terri."
IRISH_LAD RESPONDED: "No amount of prayers or any medical intervention will help this poor person regain brain function. Although I don't agree with the feeding tube withdrawal, I do believe she should be mercifully allowed to die. She is never coming back, and it is shame upon her dignity that her parents are gasping for a miracle that will never occur. No person, to my knowledge, who has been diagnosed as being in a vegetative state, has ever regained consciousness. Death is not the enemy in this case."
I AM RESPONDING:
WHAT??!! 'No amount of prayers or any medical intervention will help this poor person'? 'She is never coming back'? 'Her parents are gasping for a miracle that will never occur'? ???
WHO DIED AND MADE YOU GOD?
BTW, Terri is neither in a coma or in a Persistent Vegetative State---or at least WASN'T---before her feeding tube was removed.
To: Robert A. Cook, PE
Once the fund ran dry, then it is suddenly in the lawyer's interest to get her killed as soon as possible.
Thanks, now I see. Terri is now a "useless eater" and occupant of space for this "hospice." She is truly in mortal danger.

I think 2 were up for retention last year and I tried as hard as I could here on FR to pass the word but they were retained anyway.
I read the Free Republic political threads last fall, and I never saw anything about the FL Supreme Court judges coming up for retention in a plebiscite. I just never saw it. I guess it was impossible to get that kind of information to the mass of voters. People just rubberstamp names that they recognize. In this kind of election, there is a tendency for more to vote "Yes" than "No" unless they are in a "cross" (meaning "conservative") mood.

You can copy & paste from Acrobat, just click on the "T" icon at the top and then highlight what you want to copy. Then right-click your mouse and select "copy". Something I just discovered myself.

Excellent information NVA.
FV, ping to post #891. Has this been tried. If not, maybe you could pass it along to parties concerned.

Fixed $, per PT, per day. In addition, most hospices have a policy of caring for any PT, regardless of ability to pay.
However, hospice care is separate from "room and board" in an inpatient facility, such as she is in.

"maybe I already pinged you on it but Felos plans to write a book, if she lives...how could he?" Perhaps he already has and all that remains is the ending. Perhaps he has already taken payoff and if Terri lives, the money will have to be returned because the story will be "incomplete."

Okay, "Good morning, Merry Sunshine" -- but I won't mean it until Terri is safe.
This is all just ridiculous. . .but God is mighty.
I hate not being able to post and read at home. I'm going to Office Depot/Best Buy type places later today to get the part my hubby needs to fix my 'puter at home...so hopefully I won't have to wait long for my "FR-fix" at home.
I was reading one of the articles earlier, and it just struck me again how absolutely LOVELY Terri is. Her parents too....what wonderful people. I certainly hope their other children shower them with hugs and kisses daily! (I'm sure they do.)
