I enjoyed the author's slant on the study results.
"This study does not mean that a short life has anything to do with sexual orientation. It just shows that homosexual men live 20 years less than non-homosexual men. For, um, environmental reasons."The point of the study is not really to look at the dangers of the homosexual lifestyle but to boost aids research funding. "Give us what we want, but please don't look closely at the results of the study.

While they're not smoking one dangerous thing, they're certainly smokin' another just as dangerous...

Gay male life expectancy is still low even when you take out AIDS deaths. I remember seeing an item awhile back that said homosexual men are six times more likely to commit suicide than heterosexuals of the same age group. Blow their brains out?

Thanks for the ping - I'll be sure to add this link to the database. Of course things just wouldn't be the same if I didn't include some additional links on the subject:

"This study does not mean that a short life has anything to do with sexual orientation. It just shows that homosexual men live 20 years less than non-homosexual men.Not necessarily true. Sexual preference doesn't appear on death certificates.

Not necessarily true. Sexual preference doesn't appear on death certificates. That's because there is no such thing as sexual preference (as an immutable characteristic) there is only sexual behavior.
Your statement is the proof that 'homosexuality' is a chosen behavior. How can you tell that one corpse was 'gay' while another one wasn't? You can't.
Homosexuality is a mental disease caused by trauma and is 100 percent curable for those who want to be cured. It is not an orientation or a characteristic.

That's nice but it has no bearing on what I said. We cannot say that gays die 20 years younger than straights because we have no idea who is gay when they die.

We cannot say that gays die 20 years younger than straights because we have no idea who is gay when they die. It's highly likely that if the obit was published in a 'gay' paper the deceased practiced homosexuality. While not a foolproof indicator it's certainly a highly reliable one.
