Another idea I had when the opponents of this bill were complaining about having such little notice of it being brought up......

If Governor Bush had called a special session for the purpose of Terri's Bill, the opponents may have gone to Georgia (a la Texas) or Felos/Schiavo would have had advanced warning to gear up legal maneuvers.

Maybe... since they set up the special session October 9 for consideration of another matter.......Rep. Byrd and Sen. Webster constructed their strategy to tag the bill on to the schedule after the announced business was concluded. Most Senators and Representatives were present and Felos was limited to hours instead of days in preparation time to counter the efforts of the legislature should the bill pass.

Yes, for once Felos had to play the game that he has been having Pat Anderson play all these years. He always knew ahead of time what his next legal maneuver would be, while Pat could only race to play catch-up. Thank you, God, for this miracle that has come to pass!

I agree. It looks like Jeb has been working on this from behind the scenes all along (in spite of the doubters). He came oout of no-where and took care of the problem. He and everyone working to help Terri did it in such a way, that they (legislature, judicial) couldn't foul it up. Way to go!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: SEAN HANNITY AND FOX NEWS. Sean took up Terri's cause and stayed with it. He mentioned it everyday on his radio and tv shows, he didn't let up. I beleive this played a big part in Terri's case getting national attention.
