Ask yourself this question...if you were told you were going to be in a vegetable state starting tomorrow...for at least 10 years...would you really like to 'live' in that state?

Do you want the answer to your question?

I would not mind. If I were a vegetable, I would not be aware I was being kept alive, so I would not mind that I was being kept alive.

On the other hand,

• If I were an animal, and aware I was being starved and dehydrated, I would suffer.

• If I were a human and and aware I was being starved and dehydrated, I would suffer.

By the way, the people who deliberately kill others become even more dehumanized as they kill. It becomes easier to kill again, I would imagine.
