Hospice is a special concept of care designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments

There are some word-plays here that no one should miss. It used to be hospice was for the terminal. Notice the new term life-limiting. They are prepping for acceptance of the chronically ill and disabled who cannot be brought to a normal state of health by modern medicine. Now what do you think they are going to do with these individuals?

"Notice the new term 'life- limiting'"

I did and that is truly frightening. It is trult a giant leap forward for the death industry. Lif-limiting could apply to almost any chronic disease

Have to face the cold reality here. Hospice is a business. They want more customers. While they may try to cloak themselves in the mask of altruism, I'm not buying that anymore. They've gone way beyond their original purpose.

There are others who have a vested interest in this expansion. In just a few years Baby boomers come of age. It's going to take a lot of cash to meet their health needs.

Government does'nt want that. The innsurance companies don't want that. What better final solution to the problem than "Death with dignity" becoming the "Right to Die" becoming the "Duty to Die".

Great post. It's the kind of post to ping to "*Death Cultivation" immediately.

When you do that, your emphasis of the pertinent wording plus your analysis are up front in the bumplist, not the original thread (as happens with keywords), and so the alerter/analyst provides a quick glance as to WHAT it is that is in the thread that adds to our mountain of evidence.

Thanks,

Canticle of Deborah's note below reveals the Establishment's latest incremental (thin enterring wedge) advance prying us up from our "protection of innocent human life" credo.

I've added key highlighting to her analysis.

Please note that this is occurring under GOP control of the Statehouse and the legisture. Is this the state with the largest elderly population in the nation? Hmmm?

Don't you wonder yet how much of DemonRat Lite can we -- er -- live with?

Why isn't it clear yet how much easier it should be to elect REAL, CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS? People's lives, and rescuing the American Ethic, depend upon that recognition.
