I used the link WackySam gave a few posts above and it worked! (Great job though! Keep up the great work!)

Welcome Lauren.
Ah yes. Senator King, Florida Hospice Board of Director.
Sorry not more social Lauren. But I am going to bed. I'm stressed.

No, the law hasn't passed. It passed the house, not the senate. That'll happen tomorrow. Then Bush signs the order and Terri is saved. For 15 days.
Then she's back in danger.
The FL legislature is like the US Congress, there's representatives in the House and senators in the Senate, two separate bodies. They both have to sign before a bill becomes law.

Welcome LB. We can use all the "friends of Terri" that we can get. There is a lot of work to do in the next 15 days if this bill passes the senate.
To: Lauren BaRecall
yes, I know.

These are all good points, SeattleTiger. I wonder why the Senate could not have stayed around and voted on the House bill tonight. There was no need to adjourn.
Actually I urged Bush in an email in August to call a special session to propose a bill just like this. He did not discuss my idea in his reply; he just acknowledged the receipt of the email.
This should have been done weeks ago. Government is inefficient, slow-moving, and often an agent of injustice even as it tries to correct a wrong.

If Terri can hang on through tonight and she's given water and nutrition tomorrow, I believe there's a good chance the good guys will win the war as well as the battle. If Jeb issues a stay immediately upon signing the bill, the stay will remain in effect until Jeb explicitly revokes it. But there would still be much to be done, especially since Terri would likely still require prompt treatment to recover from what those [bleep]-[bleep] [bleeper]-[bleeping] [bleep][bleeping] [bleep]-of-[bleep] [bleeps]-of-[bleeps] did to her.

Yes, it's late. But I had to get my $.02 in.
Thanks for the welcome. :o)

Then Bush signs the order and Terri is saved. For 15 days. Then she's back in danger. Jeb has 15 days in which to issue stays, but there's no time limit on the stays themselves.
The Governor's authority to issue the stay expires 15 days after the effective date of this act, and the expiration of that authority does not impact the validity or the effect of any stay issued pursuant to this act. |

Hi!
Keep the faith! Christ rose in 3 days - 15 days is an "eternity" of time.

It is truly phenomenal. It is almost a miracle in my opinion. we just need one more...

So you are saying the stay would be permanent for her and judge greer couldn't order the tube out in 15 days?
To: supercat
You are right about how much work there still will be to do if Terri makes it long enough for Bush to sign the bill. So, God, if you're reading this: I don't know if we supposed to make promises to You, but I promise -- and I'm sure I speak for many freepers -- that if You keep Terri hanging on throught the night, we will redouble our efforst on her behalf.

I don't usually defend RINOs, but King may not know that evil is being committed in some hospices. As originally designed, the hospice movement was probably a sound idea. In fact, I had no idea of the corruption in hospices until Terri's case came to light. We may yet find out why King changed in mind in just a few hours.
Of course, his delay to Tuesday may leave this case moot in the end.

The problem seems to be with the number of outgoing mail (SMTP). Under Tools->Accounts->Mail->Home->Properties->Advanced->Outgoing SMTP has a default of 25 (I take this to mean the max number of outgoing emails) and changed to 100, but no go.
Leave that at 25, it is your port, not a limit to your qty of emails.
Could it be your ISP limiting how many recepients you can have in a single email?

I thought the bill was designed to be a stay, until the Florida Legislature reconvened. Right now, I believe they're in Special Session.
