World Net Daily is back up and running!
Excerpt:
A federal judge at noon Eastern today will hold an emergency hearing requested by the Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, a nonprofit group charged with defending the rights of disabled persons.
Regarded as the "big dog" in advocacy for the disabled, the center receives the bulk of its funding through five federal programs.
Yesterday the center filed a two-page complaint in federal court in Tampa, stating it had compelling information and evidence that Theresa Marie Schiavo is a past and present victim of abuse and neglect, and that as a group they are mandated to investigate such charges.
But to do this it is imperative Terri lives long enough for them to do their investigation, and they intend to start immediately.
The center is asking U.S. District Judge Steven D. Merryday of the Middle District of Florida for an injunction to keep Michael Schiavo from interfering in their investigation and an order to immediately resume Terri's feeding and hydration.
If Judge Merryday agrees with the center's complaint, then help will be on the way. But Terri's family and supporters worry that if it comes, it will be too late.
Christine Brundage, a retired registered nurse who handles the correspondence for the Schindler family, told WorldNetDaily people who have seen Terri say she is beginning to fade and they fear she can't hold out much longer. She is reported to be alert still and vocalizing, but her face is thinner and her skin is becoming drawn, showing the effects of five days of dehydration.
Soon her kidneys will collapse, says Brundage, and her other internal organs. Her brain, too, will be damaged even more than it was before her forced starvation.
"It's a miracle she's in as good condition as she is," remarked Brundage. "I just hope she can hold out a bit longer, if help is on the way."

Who had Sinkspur's post deleted? I think he's right.
And Peyers, I followed your advice.... I turned off the TV, have the radio turned off as well. Gonna turn on music CD's and BLAST THEM out the window as I scrub my patio outside.
With all this pent-up energy, I'll clean it really good.
GRRRRRR!
And FRiends, we have to remember we did the best we could - no matter what happens.... *sigh*

It appears to me that the start of this bill is just to give lawmakers political cover. They will claim they were attempting to fight for Terri, and it will be too little too late.
If they really wanted to help Terri, she would be back on that feeding tube NOW. This has been in the national news for weeks and for years in Florida. Jeb and other lawmakers have been pleaded with by letters and petitions for months.

Is this the Reagan appointee I've read about on another thread (can't remember where)??

"Doctors say the process of dying has begun and Terri may only have a few days left"Translated: organs of the body beginning to shut down. A few days is a best case scenario.
Worst fears confirmed. Too late for just resuming feeding. Terri would need some serious medical attention.
No scenario, except one that would give immediate guardianship to the state, is viable, now.

I don't know of any way to find out breaking news.
The AP Breaking News link at tbo.com is often hours behind.
I'm stuck here at my SLOW computer, and video links don't always work for me.
And now I have to go to work. I've missed so much work, that I can't afford to take another day off.
Sad, sad day it seems. I pray and hope that good things are happening behind the scenes at this moment, and we're not yet aware of everything here at FreeRepublic.
I'm sure the right people on the ground are busy as can be at this time.
Prayer is always good. We don't need to check with a lawyer or a judge first!!

Thanks for the "heads up". I just turned on the radio.

Hi Marmema... I was referring to the info in post #382... I'm aware that nothing happened in the earlier FL legislature... but thanks for your response :)

The Judge that I heard about was named John Moore, he was the Reagan appointee. Wonder what's up, and which Judge is really hearing the case?

Great post. It's the kind of post to ping to "*Death Cultivation" immediately.
When you do that, your emphasis of the pertinent wording plus your analysis are up front in the bumplist, not the original thread (as happens with keywords), and so the alerter/analyst provides a quick glance as to WHAT it is that is in the thread that adds to our mountain of evidence.
Thanks,

Tell us what Sean's saying, please.

Heavenly Father, we are still Your people of hope ~ Terri's cause is before another judge. Father, again as in Luke, the woman kept appearing before the judge, and he would not grant relief. She would not be stopped. Terri's parents will not be stopped. Their plea for their daughter's life is before another judge. Father, pour out Your mercy and cause this judge to be the one that, as in the Gospel of Luke, finally granted the woman her petition, lest she wear him out.
Great God, we continue to plead for Terri ~ halt the process of injury to her body, even as she craves water and food. Give to us such righteous outrage that our cries on her behalf would be heard throughout all of Florida, that she might be granted relief and restored to her family.
You are our only Hope ~ You are God of the Universe ~ look in favor upon a woman judged guilty, but without crime. Be for her that Righteous Judge and grant her relief, in Jesus Name, I pray, Amen ...

Amen my friend. I have been storming the Gates of Heaven in her behalf today as other days. Jesus said to ask Him and I asked Him to intervene in her behalf.
