I do not understand how and why in America a woman's life and right to life is held in the hands of her husband. How atrocious and appalling to think that wives are still viewed as chattel and slaves, held in bondage by marriage vows. That's not marriage. That is not the vow "...to have and to hold, in sickness and in health."
This is as bad as the Taliban and I thought President Bush liberated Afghanistan and Iraq from depostic rule, whereas in his own country an innocent woman is condemned to die by her husband and a black robed judge willing to sanction her murder. Her only crime: brain damage.

How atrocious and appalling to think that wives are still viewed as chattel and slaves, held in bondage by marriage vows. That's not marriage. That is not the vow "...to have and to hold, in sickness and in health."I refused to say, "obey", when Mr. M and I were married but I never thought about how the rest could be twisted. I'll remember this when my children marry. If anything Terri's life and death will have brought up many questions and hopefully will save other women's lives. Strange how that monster refused to divorce her (as per her wishes) and followed the last of his vows, "until death do us part".
