Terri shiavo is being murdered before my eyes!!!!!!!
personal exoerience | 10/19/2003 | Tammy

Posted on 10/19/2003 1:56:29 AM PDT by russesjunjee

I am posting this message from Pinellas Park Florida concerning a matter of utmost urgency. At this very moment the state of Florida is committing a crime against humanity. A young woman named Terri Shiavo is being starved to death in Hospice care by order of the Florida courts. Terri suffered massive injuries several years ago which left her in severe physical condition and in need of major therapy. However, her husband has seen to it that Terri had no therapy or medical treatment, making it clear that his only wishes were for Terri to just hurry up and die. (lots of life insurance money involved) When he saw that Terri was going to fight for her life he began proceedings to have her euthanized… The mainstream media has lied about this case from word one saying that Terri is in a comma or a persistent vegetative state when she is actually very responsive to the attention and instructions given to her by others. The media has also stated that Terri is on life support which she is not….The only way Terri is assisted is by a feeding tube. Her injuries have left her unable to chew or speak because she has been denied any type of rehabilitation. Terri’s husband is strongly suspected in this case. Nurses and countless others have filed affidavits with Florida’s legal system stating that Terri’s husband is extremely abusive toward her and that he tried to kill her by giving her injections of pure insulin while she lay in the hospital. Yet, no criminal investigation has ever been carried out in this matter….why? Because Terri’s husband received nearly one million dollars to pay for Terri’s rehabilitation, and it is strongly suspected that he owns the judge who is handling this case. On Wednesday Terri’s husband won his battle to have her murdered, and her feeding tube was removed from her body…She has had no food or liquids since 2 pm wed. I came to Florida to investigate this matter. I just couldn’t believe that this could happen in America. But its all true and a helpless Terri Shiavo lies dying a horrible death while her parents and loved ones are kept from her side by armed guards. I have been standing vigil with Terri’s family for the past two days and I must say that this is the most horrifying thing I have ever witnessed. We need your help to get Terri’s story out before its too late. She only has a couple of days left. Our group has been in contact with Jeb Bush, who has the power to take executive action and stop this atrocity from occurring in his state. Jeb is obviously more worried about his political career than he is the life of one of his constituents….Don’t let Florida hide Terri’s story any longer….Go to her web site www.terrisfight.org and get the facts. You will be alarmed at what you see. Please call president bush, Governor Bush, and any other government officials you can think of, but most of all help us to get the truth out. I have watched reporters from CNN, FOX, WGN, CBS, ABC, and MSNBC interview Terri’s family. They are filming and reporting the truth but it is never getting past the cutting room floor. Please call your local papers and radio stations….We must get the truth out or this woman will be dead very soon. No one in Florida’s courts or political system will even hear Teri’s case or her family’s cries for justice. I guess its just not good politics to try and do the right thing anymore. Please help…. everything you do can make a difference…If the state of Florida can get away with murdering a helpless woman then the rest of us are fair game………PLEASE HELP. This is REAL and it’s happening right now.

Actually, in all fairness, I doubt that a wrongful death suit has much of a chance of success against any of the principals. A federal civil rights conspiracy charge might have some merit (and could--dream dream--get those creeps the needle) but I don't think a wrongful death suit would go anywhere.

I don't know if it'd go anywhere either, but my guess is that a wrongful death will be filed by the Schindlers, if only to depose the principals and do other discovery.

More is not quoting any specific laws, just their interpretation of the situation

Isn't that exactly what Greer was doing?

Please explain what legal authority Gov. Bush possesses to take charge of this case.

I have a hypothetical question maybe someone could help me with. IF Jeb just went with one of the legal briefs that said he has the authority to stop this (even IF they are wrong) and just DID it...what would be the ramifications to Jeb? I certainly do believe he would be hailed as a hero but what, if anything besides pissin' and moanin' could the liberals do about him saving her life (especially without looking like the ghouls they are). Thanks.

I suppose since you live so far away that you didn't hear about Jeb Bush appointing a guardian for an unborn baby this summer.
The mother was a severely disabled woman who was raped in a nursing home. She had a guardian, who wanted the baby aborted. Governor Bush made sure that there was someone to speak for the baby, which was not aborted.

I've known Jeb Bush for 9 years, and I have never doubted his commitment to life.

That's my question too. It would sure put the libs and prodeath crowd in a tight spot. We need some video of Terry making delighted noises while visiting with Jeb Bush after he insists her feeding tube be restored.

And all the while, we are watching her starve... all the debate is just like the UN with Iraq. Time is running out.

So what's his problem this time?

If you have access to the hospice center and the people involved, couldn't you organize a physical protest? Let the security guards be damned. Get out there and get arrested for trying to do good! Y'all have my support for it!

A woman is being staved to death and he has sat by and let it happen for 5 days. No excuse for him.

I'm sure there have to be some FL freepers who'd join you on the spot.

To me, the fact that he's called a special legislative session instead of leading a commando raid is a good thing.

I don't see that he has a problem.

Well, I see where the liberal judiciary has Bush by the proverbial "short hairs" on this and thus he is between a rock and a hard place - but if it were me (which is obviously isn't) I would err on the side of the legal briefs most apt to save a woman, right a terrible wrong, and yes politically speaking make me a hero in the majority's eyes. I remember Clinton stomping on more laws than a cat has fleas to do something horrid in grabbing a little boy (Elian) by gunpoint. Frankly, what happened to Clinton over this? Nothing. On the other hand, Jeb would be doing something heroic.....
Yes, I also understand the folks that say we can't have our various gov't bodies running willy-nilly over one another. I also recall a bunch of "good Germans" who fretted about not breaking their laws either. I certainly do not have the answers but I also do not believe that good men can stand around and do nothing and expect evil will just slink away. Democrats never slink away. You have pour salt and holy water on them.

That's good. I wasn't talking about Jeb... you're right, living over here I don't usually follow what Jeb does, but anyway, at the moment I'm happy there looks like there's a chance to stop this. We need to keep praying! Hopefully they're not just going through the motions... i'll give them the benefit of the doubt. pray!

I think so. It seemed he combined his personal view, but in the end he went with what the law states which is Michael is the legal guardian. I just dont get how or if the verbal living will thing applied.

Oh goody - more debate. That'll do a woman who's had nothing to eat or drink for four days a lot of good. You know how long those debates can go on...

Okay. Then you think it's not a good idea to change the law.

What are a few short hairs worth? Let 'em get ripped out, I say.

I remember Clinton stomping on more laws than a cat has fleas to do something horrid in grabbing a little boy (Elian) by gunpoint. Frankly, what happened to Clinton over this? Nothing. On the other hand, Jeb would be doing something heroic.....

EXACTLY! I hadn't even thought of that parallel.

I also understand the folks that say we can't have our various gov't bodies running willy-nilly over one another.

They'd rather have them running willy-nilly over US I guess! argh. I hear ya.

I also recall a bunch of "good Germans" who fretted about not breaking their laws either.

Bingo!

Democrats never slink away. You have pour salt and holy water on them.

Speaking of which, did you hear the monsignor who wanted to give her Holy Communion as part of the Last Rites and was ordered not to (I think by Michael) wanted then to carry out an exorcism on Michael? I wouldn't be surprised if that man is possessed or at least terribly demonically oppressed. But then I thought exorcisms didn't work unless the person really wanted to be free?

No, but if the existing statutes explicitly do not allow for someone to be denied oral hydration and sustenance when such denial will kill them, then Judge Greer has no right to deny such sustenance in this case, and any order he might issue attempting to do so is null and void.

Suppose Judge Greer were to issue an order ruling that Terri's father should be shot. Should Bush allow such a ruling to be carried out?

Hopefully they're not just going through the motions... i'll give them the benefit of the doubt. pray!

Pray that someone will ACT! Quickly!

Action is what is needed now... praying is for us who are not there.

Isn't there a story about praying for someone to go minister to so and so... but too many times we don't realize God is trying to answer the prayer with "YOU go."

Michael is the legal guardian

Oh phooey. (I realize you're just reiterating, that wasn't against you.) My bet is if this was a child, they'd be turning over every blade of grass to prove it was shaken baby syndrome and take his guardianship away.
