Let's play a little game.

It's called "Where is your elected representative this weekend (while an innocent woman is being starved to death in America)?"

I'm in Washington, DC. We have been working night and day to get the legal opinions needed to put a stop to this. We have been doing everything in our power to get the attention of the Executive Branch focused on this crisis that this woman, and by extension, our country, is facing.

Well, it's the weekend, and anyone who knows anything about this town will tell you that Congresscritters scatter to their Districts on the weekends. Executive branch appointees and employees go Lord only knows where.

Do you know where they might be in your District or state tomorrow???

Find out, and FReep the hell out of em, literally.

I'm not kidding, if we won't act now, under these circumstances, what will it take to arouse us from our slumber?

He's not required to give a reason, and any reason he would give likely wouldn't be believed, so what would be the point?

Yeah and Jeb is aware of this as well but can do nothing. Well he says he can do nothing but we all know that is a bunch of nonsense. Would make a great President wouldn't he. Uh, I don't have the Executive power when a criminal judge is trying to kill a disabled woman at the behest of a husband with criminal intents, actions, and words, etc. and who fires guardian ad litems for saying there is a conflict of interest of Michael being guardian and asking to have her starved, etc. and who allows the raiding of rehab funds by said husbands Attorney (Felos) $550,000 and lets him get paid to talk to reporters about how he is going to kill Terri, etc. and who says Terri said "No tubes for me" in Federal in State courts, etc. etc. the list goes on and on and on.

Not really. Hubby declares she doesn't want to receive it, Judge Greer declares it so, and so it is.

Were it not for Judge Greer's undue willingness to take Schiavo at his word for everything, this would not be unreasonable. After all, suppose an Islamic religious leader showed up wanting to give her last rites? Should that have been allowed?

To be sure, Schiavo's forbidding of the rites is despicable, but I don't see it as a First Amendment issue.

Absolutely! Didn't a federal judge, not Lazzara, say yesterday that he had filed the paperwork for the state court papers to be delivered to him? Whatever happened with that?

I believe Calpernia mentioned something about a Judge Chad - any news on that?

Judge Greer is a Board member of the Hospice that Terri is in.

Isn't this a conflict of interest? I would think it is.

I just heard a cbs radio update from Pinellas County. They interviewed Terri's sister who said that Terri was not allowed to have last communion.

Just sent the following Email to Jeb, with this thread linked.



Mr. Governor,

If this post at FreeRepublic is reliable, then it would seem to prove that TERRI IS NOT COMATOSE!!! It would then be ILLEGAL in the State of Florida to starve and dehydrate her to death.

Below is the link and an excerpt. If this is true, that Terri reacts with joy at seeing her priest every Saturday, how could a judge determine that she is completely non-responsive and a "vegetable"? And DELIBERATELY ignore the massive evidence to the contrary of her alertness and responsiveness.

I don't care what you have to do, Mr. Governor, but NO judge in your state has any right WHATSOEVER under the Law to issue a ruling based on a material LIE about a ward's true medical condition.

This is the biggest OUTRAGE I've ever encountered in my life.

YOU MOST CERTAINLY POSSESS sufficient executive authority to step in, and stop this colossal miscarriage of justice.

Judges are not exempt from the truth, and they are not unaccountable.
They are not supreme authorities unto themselves.

It is your sworn duty as Governor to SEE that Florida Law is faithfully executed.
In this case, the laws have been hijacked by what appears to be a pre-ordained agenda to kill Terri Schindler-Schiavo, a resident of your State. You have the MORAL and LEGAL OBLIGATION to protect her interest in living. This is an obligation you assumed UNDER OATH.

If you stand by and do nothing, you will be seriously remiss in your duties, and no longer fit to serve as Governor of Florida, or any other office for that matter.

Mr. Governor, if you are truly the "champion of the disabled" as you claim to be,

WHY WON'T YOU ACT???

My prayers are with you in this time of decision.
Please act quickly to assure justice for Terri and for the State of Florida.
