Well Clemens pitched 3.0 innings and Mussina pitched 3.0 innings. Three innings is long relief. Now, the Yankees are using everybody in their bullpen to stop the Red Sox.

I thought only the fans of "that other school in Ann Arbor" blamed umps or refs...

Nixon is Mr. Clutch. And he hit with guys on.

Hey, if the Sox beat the Yanks here, ya got to give it to 'em. I just think Giambi as a #1 RBI guy in the lineup, and $120m slugger has to produce far more than he has. The Yanks lineup can't match Boston's. And let's face it -- the Red Sox have six guys they can plug into that cleanup spot.

Play ball in HS? College? I was a pitcher.

keep him in there until its OVER. No, the Red Sox want to have fresh pitchers to keep the Yankees in line. Besides, you also don't want to tire out Pedro. We may need him in the WS.

Nope, Pedro's as fragile as a china cat. Don't let the pitch count drift much past 95-100....
