PLEASE ,PLEASE go to the website http://www.terrisfight.org and read the letters that have just been sent to Jeb Bush in regards to the Terri Schiavo case. JEB BUSH can LEGALLY STOP THIS. CALL his office, CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES, CALL and email the media.THE CLOCK is ticking to save her life.

Having recently filed a living trust document in which I said "absolutely no herioc measures in the event my condition becomes either hopelessly vegetative or beyond medical capabilities for a short term recovery", I cannot agree with you. If she is incapacitated, the decision is her husband's to make, NOT her parents. Parents lost legal standing when she married.

Well, I will give you that refering to her as a piece of you know what wasn't very Godly of me, but hey, I can be human sometimes too.
I just really can't stand someone who posts almost the entire night here about how Terri should be killed, and then does this.

The point is that when Terri responds, it means that she is not within the medical definition of being in a "Persistent Vegetative State" at which point, her misdiagnosis is resulting in her illegal death. As long as she is not in a PVS , then legally there is no reason whereby those statutes apply. And...before Terri was considered to be in a PVS by those on Michael's side, Terri was speaking. She has deteriorated through a lack of proper care as afforded her under the disabilities laws in Florida statutes. I can look them up again if you would like.

But I look at that woman and think what if that was my wife or my kid, would I want them to live like that?

But would she be like that today if her "oh so loving husband" give her the treatment she needed? Wouldn't you give your child the benefit of the doubt and do every thing you possibly could or would you try your darnedest to keep everyone who cared about him/her away and intentionally pull the feeding tube? Bottom line is, she collasped 13 years ago from some unknown reason and hubby doesn't want her to recover.

I agree and while I don't agree with the way they intend to have her die I must admit that if I was her and I had told my wife to let me die if I ever became a vegtable as she most obviously is. That I wouldn't want anybody to interfere and that means the Gov. or Pres or even her parents. I know I wouldn't want to live like that.


I am curious. On what do you base that she is "obviously" a vegetable? And what if you HAD Not TOLD you wife you wanted to die but she had another guy and kids and really, really, wanted you out of the picture? And if were not a vegtable and had chance?
