If the Yanks win today, will Burkett still be starting?

After the game four melee, Game 7 hype should be off the charts.
To: TrappedInLiberalHell
lol.....that would be a gas. ....But they at least have to put The Chairman of the Board on afterwards. ....Tradition and all.

After the game four melee, Game 7 hype should be off the charts. Given Fox's penchant for crassness, they'll likely continue with the 'boxing' motif when advertising the series, along with the ding of the bell.

Burkett is penciled in as the game 6 starter.

If the Yanks win today, will Burkett still be starting? He probably will, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Wakefield again in relief.

I would assume so. Barring personal injury, etc.

That sounds like something Eddie Layton might play between innings.

When's the last time Burkett pitched? I don't recall him pitching in the Oakland Series.

Come on Soriano .....break out of it.

I've got too much Red Sox experience to feel any optimism. I've been watching Red Sox games since 1971. So even when they are ahead with 2 outs in the ninth, I sit there muttering to myself "They're going to blow it, they're going to find some way to blow it."

Soriano just missed hitting one over the monster.

I've been watching Red Sox games since 1971 We've been fans of our respective teams for exactly the same length of time.

Even if it came it clear, I'd probably turn the sound down cuz I can't stand to listen to McCarver.
LOL, Does anyone like McCarver? Even the other announcers in the booth with him make fun of him on air.

Burkett pitch game 4 against the As and pitched fairly well. Was pulled, I think in the 6th after giving up a gopher ball that put the As ahead by 1 run.
That was a bad called strike. No doubt about it. 0-2 pitch to Jeeter.

Burkett pitch game 4 against the A?s and pitched fairly well. Ahh, thanks. I think I missed that game -- probably because another game was on at the same time and my affiliate had to choose.

Buck pronounces 3rd baseman Mueller as "Miller". Is this the correct pronunciation?
