There's staying in a race as a massive underdog and there's staying in a race and doing your utmost on a daily basis to antagonize the base of the massive frontrunner. Haley has so poisoned the water—and it's not that she had much goodwill to start especially in the south—that no one on our side will go near her even if Trump dropped out.

I was going to say she has become the female version of that fat slob Christie, but it's deeper than that. Christie was certainly getting some GOPe money, but he was pursuing a personal vendetta. Haley is channeling almost 50 years of GOPe rage from when Ronald Reagan took on Gerald Ford in 1976 through the Reagan years, the '94 takeover, the Tea Party, and just when ¡Yeb! was all set to lose and things would finally be set right, down that golden escalator came Donald J. Trump to once again wreck the party for the GOPe.

They have been unhinged since and increasingly so with each day that passes and he's still standing. And that we're still standing with him. Haley is saying what has been said over and over since 1976: Why won't you just go away? Why? WHY? GO AWAY! JUST GO AWAY!

And the GOPe rage continues.

It goes back even farther than 1976, imo. I remember well the Rockefeller Republicans who raged against the Barry Goldwater tide in 1964.

Haley will stay in the race until GOP Convention.
She is counting on him put in prison on trumped up phony charges, and she will be the only other choice left with delegates. All those Democrats who are voting for her will vote for Biden in November.
