The GOP leadership hates Trump as much as the Democrats do. They’d rather have a minority party than lead a majority party full of Trump endorsed representatives. That's my take, too. The GOP is hoping to hang what should have been a sure win into a Trump loss. McConnell has basically admitted he doesn't like some of the Trump candidates.

The GOP will never be worth anything unless it gets MAGA leadership..... This is something that the GOP Establishment is desperately trying to avoid. And we know why.

They might think about it like this, If they take over congress, then they will get the blame for anything that goes wrong. Giving people a reason to vote Democrat in the next presidential election. Hold off until 2024, the general public will be more eager to vote for the Republican candidates.

Carlson rightly suggested that, if Republicans really wanted to win, they’d run on crime and immigration. They would be called racist - and they have proven they have no idea how to counter that charge.

They are trojan horses for the democrats; they are traitors to the people who elected them to represent them.
They want the same agenda, but don’t want to take the heat for it.
Some are democrats deceitfully running as republicans because it’s the only way they could get elected into office to advance their agenda.
