President Trump on Monday dismissed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s accusation that he was trying to “sabotage” the 2020 election by “manipulating” the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), claiming the USPS has “run horribly” for years and “we’re going to make it good.”
In an exclusive interview on Fox & Friends on Monday, Trump pointed out that the post office lost $78 billion over a “very short” period of time and he’s trying to improve operations ahead of the election.
“I’m just making it good,” Trump said. “We have a very, very good business guy running it, and … I want to make the post office great again.”

The USPS Just Filed A Patent For A Blockchain-Based Secure-Voting System
The U.S Patent and Trademark Office presented the USPS’ official patent application, dubbed the “Secure Voting System,” which leverages blockchain technology to securitize the voting process and transmit the incoming ballots more efficiently and quickly.
Trump complained about the patent brought forward by USPS by saying that with a blockchain-leveraged voting system, there would be no confirmation and way to verify whether the voter inscribed on the ballot was actually the one casting the vote. Also, he said that after the ballot was sent, there would be no way to know whether the ballot was tampered with.

FR POSTED-——In a letter sent to her House colleagues Sunday afternoon, San Fran Nan thought it would be a terrific idea to compound her lies alleging President Trump is somehow “defunding” and “dismantling” the U.S. Postal Service by refusing to pour an extra $27 billion down that particular rathole by adding the age-old Democrat hustle of scaring the old folks about Social Security.
Her letter, which is posted as a press release on her website, reads as follows:
“The Postal Service is a pillar of our democracy, enshrined in the Constitution and essential for providing critical services: delivering prescriptions, Social Security benefits, paychecks, tax returns and absentee ballots to millions of Americans, including in our most remote communities.”
“Alarmingly, across the nation, we see the devastating effects of the President’s campaign to sabotage the election by manipulating the Postal Service to disenfranchise voters,” claims Pelosi. “These delays also threaten the health and economic security of the American people by delaying delivery of life-saving medicines and payments.”
In response to Pelosi’s despicably dishonest diatribe, the Social Security Administration issued a statement today noting that checks to recipients last were delivered via the U.S. mail in 2013.

partly relevant article here, states that for instance in Washington, more people used dropboxes for ballots than mail boxes. “Washington state has nearly 450 election dropboxes, which more voters relied on than the U.S. mail in the August primary.” Not sure what it is for other states?
There’s also a short video showing a high-speed mail sorting machine that looks, just from the buttons, about 90 million years old. So maybe not so ‘high speed’ as the name implies. These machines are being removed, likely to replace with newer models. And they’re doing it at a time when business mail is way down and so time-effective to do it now.
I never had major issues with USPS delivery until I became a Trump donor.
You know what I’d like to see: How many reported complaints, requests for help with delivery issues have been lodged by people who have donated to Trump...
