Bernie Sanders raked in $25.3 million over the past three months, putting him on top of the Democratic presidential fundraising field for now. But in a sign of what he and his rivals are up against, President Donald Trump and his allies raised $125 million.
Other leading Democrats, including former Vice President Joe Biden and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, have yet to reveal their fundraising figures for the third quarter.
But the staggering sum on the Republican side, which was split between the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee, highlights the cash gulf between Democrats and the GOP. It could revive anxieties among Democrats that a protracted primary featuring nearly 20 candidates could be counterproductive while Trump builds a massive cash advantage that can be used against the ultimate nominee.

The “polls” are cooked. Kinda hard to argue with the $$$. I wonder what the average donation to the Trump campaign was ... I suspect he’s getting huge numbers of small donations.
It’s a very sad commentary on the U.S. that the bitter old anti-American communist can raise $25 million. That is very troubling. In a sane world, he wouldn’t be able to raise more than he could by collecting “spare change” down on the street corner with the other bums.
And it’s that with $25 million bucks, Bernie can’t buy a comb.

I agree. Also, a good thing to remember is that any $$ spent on the Dem primary is $$ that is gone come general election time, other than in the case of the one that wins the primary. Nonetheless, there is a lot of cash being burned up, as in the $19M that was given to Buttplug who has about as good a chance being president as I do. That cash is gone forever.
Now that bernie has his stents in place and has (temporarily?) stalled his campaign, will he just keep the $25,300,000.00 that is in his campaign coffers, fading into oblivion before succumbing to a heart attack?
It will go into the Breadline Bernie Foundation or other tax free accounts.
