The American Indians have genetic markers which show that their ancestors came from Asia and coastal China.
They are not “indigenous” people. Their ancestors are “First Peoples,” not “native Americans.”

True.
So maybe in some parts of Africa and Asia there are true indigenous people?
almost boggles the mind to think that NO ancestor ever wandered farther than where they lived now over THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of years.
But if we didn’t go to Africa, it doesn’t look like the ones that stayed were leaving any time soon.
Their first aircraft carrier was a ways off :)
Hence, many call ourselves “American Indians”. Americans born here are of course, Native Americans.
