This Frank Bruni guy writes like with an arrogant buffoon -- a guy who was never learned to tone done his biased praise to be credible.

He's trying real hard to be a Maureen Dowd, but it just doesn't work. Look at his phrases:

• run articulate and impassioned circles around [Biden].

• Harris had a fire that Buttigieg lacked, and it was mesmerizing.

• [Harris] found a cranny of oratorical space in which to land a good line.

• a Harris-Buttigieg ticket... what a wealth of poise and double scoop of precedents that would be.

This writing is shocking for a paper known for editing out such over-gushing schlock.

We can only conclude the Times is willing to try anything to stay afloat. The former "newspaper of record" has truly become a failing -- and amateurish -- daily. It has fallen behind the New York Post in credibility and editorial quality.
