I guess the comparison of “Trump” and “Divorced Dad” is the latest dog whistle, equating two great evils in the minds of her female audience.

So, it's a telling projection.
The problem for Michelle's projection is she thinks the whole of the electorate is that, when only half is. The other half, not looking to Trump as a parent but as a qualified janitor-employee to keep the dang building clean and safe and well run ... couldn't give a crap what kind of father he is. We don't want a father. We want an employee.
He's just a guy with a job to do, and that job is not to be a good or bad daddy or any kind of daddy to a party of grown entitled tyrant power hungry children that he never fathered.
Michelle is a child who successfully pretended to be the mommy for so long that she thinks she is the mommy of the country. But that kind of pretending is what children do, not adults, and it is pretend, not reality. So grow the hell up Michelle, you're an adult now, and when and if you do, maybe you can pass the word on to the rest of the kids you played mommy too that you are not the mommy, and they are not the children.
That one insight, grasped my a few tens of millions, would make a big difference for this country, not to mention its REAL children who are now learning to be adults from adults who still think they are children and that the good and the bad in their lives comes from the goodness or badness of the mommy and daddy, who may thus be judged ... as Michelle judges Trump with her silly projected name calling.
