In an interview in London for her new memoir "Becoming," former First Lady Michelle Obama delivered a stinging assessment of the state of American politics and, specifically, of President Donald Trump. Said Obama:
"We come from a broken family, we are a little unsettled. Sometimes you spend the weekend with divorced dad. That feels like fun but then you get sick. That is what America is going through. We are living with divorced dad."
The Independent, which reported on Obama's comments, said she offered that assessment in a joking manner. But joking or not, there's some real truth in Obama's assessment of how we got here -- and got Trump.

Why is it not an outrage to go to a foreign country and criticize the leader of your country. I frequently travel for business and other people constantly ask my opinion on US politics. While I do have very strong opinions, I would never offer negative opinions about any political leader to someone that is a citizen of another country.
It would feel like bad mouthing a family member outside the family. I just don’t do it!
President Trump is 100 times the man Barry could ever hope to be. Michael should just stick to something he knows about like managing his staff.

All of which comes to a screeching halt when God delivers a vision. How did the Donald ever get such a vision? It didn’t come from his lifestyle. It has to come from elsewhere. Sure! We might be looking at a male version of Rahab the harlot here. And are you gonna tell God what to do?!?
