Encouraged by left-wing activists and the media, Democrats are performing litmus tests like lab technicians. supporting proposals that are impossible, extreme or oversimplified. Many of these have merit. The problem is that they have become a battery of binary tests of ideological purity – allowing Trump to caricature Democrats as extremist.

Yes, it does seem like a growing list of fringe ideas. They might win with the party insiders, but what about with the rest of America? At some point they are going to be very unrecognizable to most Americans, if not already.

There is nothing that is on that list that is thought of as a new idea by the left. Everything on that list has been spouted by the left for many decades. ICE was the result of combining other agencies together when HHS was formed and touted as a way to reduce redundancy in government. I remember in the mid-1980’s discussing late-term abortions and pph. Demonrats will never ban PAC contributions unless it is a right wing organization. Moveon.org and others like it are PACs. Boycotting AIPAC has been done before, its not new. The electoral college will not be banned in our lifetime because of the ratification process it requires to remove it from the Constitutional protection. What is new about the Electoral College front is the states stating their EC members would go to the candidate who wins the national popular vote count. This isn’t really technically circumventing the electoral college but it could state that a resident of that state was disenfranchised by that course of action. Free stuff for all is a concept set into motion by the New Deal. Packing the courts has a history behind it and there were at times more SC justices that there is now. All parliamentary procedure bodies go through periods of wanting and not wanting the filibuster as it is not just a USA concept. Impeachment is a retaliatory reaction for the last Prez that was impeached. So-called journalists claimed Clinton’s impeachment was retaliation for Nixon and now there are those who say the desire to impeach Trump is a retaliatory action for Clinton’s impeachment. The left doesn’t want guaranteed jobs for all as it would make people independent, they are really wanting a universal income for all so that the people will rely on the government. When people rely on the government for their basic necessities they tend to vote to the left so they can keep getting paid.
This is and has been the left’s agenda for many many years, there is nothing new in that list.

Democrat policies are 100% focused on putting Democrats in power, keeping Democrats in power, and making sure Democrats aren’t prosecuted for abuses of power.
Black people will get $3 worth of reparation but pay $3000 worth of climate change, change you can believe in.
When Obama kept telling them Black Live Matters because they do not believe in Climate Change, and black people were cheering, I was like, seriously?
