For once, the most memorable thing about one of the president's rallies was not his baldfaced lies nor his attacks on reality. Rather, President Donald Trump's Tampa rally will be remembered for the reporting of CNN's Jim Acosta. He revealed more accurately than most what the Trump base, or at least part of it, looks and sounds like and what Trump must do to hold its attention. He tweeted:
"Just a sample of the sad scene we faced at the Trump rally in Tampa. I'm very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt. We should not treat our fellow Americans this way. The press is not the enemy."
In between reports, Acosta strolled over to engage with the hooters and hollerers, extending them the civility and respect they would deny anyone who contradicts their cult leader....

The libs. know they are so out matched by POTUS it must be terrifying to behold. In Tampa he had a huge crowd packed arena with supporters hanging from the rafters and hundreds outside watching on big screens, all attendees in celebratory party mode. It can only be understood by attending one of these events. Every event is unrehearsed and original. The MSM at these events can feel the energy and sense it’s unstoppable force. Every rally they are forced to cover confirms the reality - that the Trump phenomena is real, it is here to stay, and there is not a darn thing they can say or do to stop it. There is no one in the U.S. - or for that matter the world - who can hold a candle to this, courageous, bold, self-assured, common sense man who we are so lucky to have as a real champion for all that’s good for America and the world. God bless him and keep him safe.

I always learned you need to give respect to get it except when it comes to our President where we were always supposed to respect the office if not the man.
Seems to me they are finally getting what they have been giving for years now.
