Before George W. Bush was President, Virginia was English speaking, low crime and Republican.
There were few latinos until Gillespie and his friends flooded the country with fraudulently documented foreigners.
I was born and raised in Wisconsin, but have lived in Virginia for most of my adult life.
After moving to the middle of all of this history I became active in historical preservation and have donated thousand s of dollars to that end.
I deeply resent the effort to erase the history, any history.
Some of us white northerners are under attack too. How many people feel their job would be threatened if they revealed their support for President Trump? Long gone are the days when “I like Ike” was acceptable.
Its not just southerners. Anyone who is white and Christian in any real way is under attack. If they don’t know it they are idiots. I can tune into any cable network and hear “white” racial smears used as disqualifiers simply because of race and often “male” gender. The only open racism tolerated is against whites and its not misogyny but misandry that is most prevalent.
Simply because we are Christians, Conservatives, Patriots, faithful to our wives and children, love our state (Alabama), back our conservative leaderships, and back our military personnel wherever they go in harms way. Just one of the things I mentioned above gets us targeted by the left. In fact, go read the Scriptures. God puts the good on His right and the bad on His left. That is mentioned a few times in Scripture.
This means the point spread of the Roy Moore election will be important throughout the South. If he wins big enough, it will inspire a lot of southern politicians to run as strong conservatives. As in, more than they are now.
They are. So are white northern conservatives and non-white conservatives.
It’s political, not regional or racial.
I don’t “feel” like I’m under attack. I know damn well that I’m under attack.
They are under attack....but then so are the rest of us.
The other half of white southerners might want to grab a look at the comments section of The Hill, Politico, Huffington Post and other political publications if they DO NOT think they’re under attack.
They will not like what is being said about them.
Half “feel” (understand) they are under attack, the other half voted for Hillary or no comprendo English!
Most of us in Atlanta just feel like we are living in a foreign country.
They are. It’s not just an “I feel like I’m under attack.”
the South has been America’s whipping boy, blamed for all of its ills, since the 1840’s.
When this poll says with Southerners, I’m sure that means whites living in the South, which includes a lot of people who have migrated from the north to the south. If they just polled those whose ancestors have lived in the South since before the War Between the States, the majority of them would say agree that they, they’re history and their ancestors are under attack continuously.
And idiot Democrats wonder why they lost the South.
Congress was supposed to keep USA the same natural kind via naturalization.
After WBTS Congress decided naturalization meant unnaturalizing and it continues today.
All naturalization acts since 1870 are really UnNaturalization acts.
Very few understand what really happened and they don’t understand what naturalization means.
Barack Obama wasn’t born the same natural kind.
