During the endless ratings bonanza which was the Comey testimony, you may recall that the former FBI Director was asked multiple times in several variations of wording about what the President said to him about the Flynn investigation and, in a more general sense, all of the Russia questions. Was he asked to drop the investigation? No. Was he told to drop the investigation? No. Was he ordered to drop the investigation? Again and again no. And did he, after all the inferences and hopes allegedly expressed by the President of the United States, actually wind up dropping the investigation? Nope.
If that was a case of obstruction of justice in the legal sense, the would-be obstructionist was really bad at their job.
But that didnt stop Senator Dianne Feinstein (D Calif.) from joining in with some of her fellow Democrats and calling for the investigations into possible obstruction charges anyway. Because Trump. (The Hill)
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) is calling on the Judiciary Committee to investigate possible obstruction of justice in the ongoing controversy over President Trumps firing FBI director James Comey, including subpoenaing officials to testify if they dont cooperate.
It is my strong recommendation that the Judiciary Committee investigate all issues that raise a question of obstruction of justice. These issues should be subject to full committee hearings, Feinstein wrote in a letter Friday to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the chairman of the committee.
Feinstein, the top Democrat on the committee, added that she and Grassley agree that termination of the FBI director and any efforts to interfere with the independence of ongoing investigations are the jurisdiction of their committee.
Its not as if Feinstein hasnt been telegraphing her punches from the beginning. You may recall that the California Senator provided one of the leading highlight reel moments of the Comey testimony when she talked about what a big strong man Comey is, demanding to know why he didnt step up and get in Trumps face during their meeting. (LA Times, video follows with excerpt)

Youre big, youre strong, the veteran Democratic senator told Comey. I know the Oval Office, and I know what happens to people when they walk in. There is a certain amount of intimidation. But why didnt you stop and say, Mr. President, this is wrong I cannot discuss that with you?
Maybe if I were stronger, I would have, Comey replied. I was so stunned by the conversation that I just took it in.
We live in the era of hot takes and that doesnt just apply to the media. Members of the Senate are in on the act too. You need to feed the base all the red meat they desire if you want to build up a head of steam heading into the midterms. Whether that means calling for televised hearings into a question which seems to have already been asked and answered or just dropping some F-bombs during public remarks, everyone wants to generate some clickbait to keep their base happy.
Kicking off these hearings in the Judiciary Committee is precisely in line with the overall DNC strategy. It keeps the focus on supposed wrongdoing by the President and bogs down any progress on getting his agenda moved forward in the legislature. And with a willing and compliant press corps, just the phrase, Obstruction of Justice sends a thrill down their collective legs because it allows them to keep talking about impeachment. (And theyre working on that already too.) Its all too perfect.
So will it go forward? I dont see how you avoid that. This plays perfectly for the Democrats because if any Republicans on the committee object theyll immediately be labeled as providing cover for the President. Then, of course, it will takes weeks if not months to line up various witnesses to interrogate, giving cable news talkers endless fodder to go on and on and on about it. And if it produces absolutely nothing when all is said and done? No problem. The hearings still served their purpose in terms of the ongoing, slow motion coup. In terms of political warfare its fairly brilliant, really.
Who controls the house and Senate? Seriously?
Yes I agree, we need to investigate Loretta Lynch and see if the President at the time, B. Hussein Obama, ordered her to obstruct justice by getting her to demand James Comedy not use the word “investigation” while talking about the career criminal who should be doing life in prison, Hitlery Rotten.
Indict Clinton and Lynch!!!!!
So the Russian collusion story is dying and the Demoncrats just move on to the next lie. But the Loretta Lurch obstruction of justice is a nothing burger.
Yes we feel Trump was was obstructing our coup, our attempts to frame him, lie about him, make false accusations about him, slander and libel him on a daily basis etc.
He could have simply said, "Don't bother with Flynn, Jimmy-boy. I just pardoned him."
...and Comey!!!!!
just move on to the next lie
no, make it up 1st then move on to it
To quote someone on a facebook post I just saw:
“Feinstein looks like my mother trying to figure out a VCR”
The big one cannot happen soon enough. Imagine, Feinstein, Pelosi, Waters, Moonbeam, and the entire cretin Hollywood crew pushing daisies. Can there not be a better dream?
Added bonus: The IQ of the nation will take a very measurable jump upwards.
I wonder how she feels about pursuing various Democrats for perjury?
DiFi and her hubby know a thing or two about putting their lives ahead of everyone else's......using her Govt status and influence to steer business and profits to enrich themselves.
Perhaps there's the prospect of their lives being inconvenienced...... maybe by empaneled FBI agents with Grand Jury subpoena power investigating things like how her husband/s investment group managed to obtain several Billion dollars taxpayer-funded govt contracts .....
BACKSTORY: Back in Sept 2014, Senate intel head Di/Fi was whining about the CIA looking through her computers and taking documents. Clearly, the CIA had plenty on her----even BEFORE the shocking Chi/Com missile scandal brke involving a Cali state Senator.
Di/Fi's known aversion to guns did not prevent her from honoring Sen Leland Lee's co-defendant, Raymond Chow---Chow is the key figure in Cali's Demorat state Sen Yee's shocking sub rosa missile deal w/ China (Yee is a notorious grabber of American guns).
INCONVENIENT FACTOIDS:
<><>Feinstein heads the Senate Intel Committee;
<><> Her hubby Richard Blum made million as the lawyer for Chinese interests and from tax-funded govt contracts;
<><> Did Di use her access to valuable US security data improperly?
<><> Hubby Richard Blum made millions in China deals in past years. How'd he do that?
<><> Is hubby cutting new deals w/ the Chi/Coms?

LIFE CAN BE BEAUTIFUL IN THE FEDERAL SECTOR ---Di/Fi and husband profit for 15 years from federal funds
NY Post | 1/19/15 | Richard Johnson / FR Posted by Libloather
My report Sunday on the lucrative deal Sen. Dianne Feinsteins husband has to sell 56 post office buildings barely scratched the surface of her conflicts of interest. The California Democrats financier husband, Richard C. Blum, is estimated to be a billionaire from his shrewd investments in companies that profit from federal policies.
For at least 15 years, Feinstein has appeared to support government contracts that push federal funds toward companies co-owned or governed by her powerful, billionaire husband, Richard C. Blum, Breitbart News reported. (Excerpt) Read more at pagesix.com ...

ITEM--Sen Finestein's husband, Richard Blum, became a billionaire representing China's interests.

THERE'S GOLD IN THEM THAR HILLS---Sponsored by Senator Diane Feinstein, the Desert Wilderness Protection Act and its companion bill known as the California Desert Protection Act created three new national parks and seventy- four new wilderness areas in the desert of California that total 8 million acres (an area the size of Maryland).
This closes acreage to development, forces out private owners within the protected area and closes mines and ranches. It also expands the Death Valley and Joshua Tree national monuments and upgrades them to national parks.
It seems that the real motivation for passage of this bill lies with the special interest groups that would benefit monetarily. Through a complex series of land exchanges, Catellus Corporation (Owned by none other than Richard Blum DiFI Hubby), a subsidiary of Santa Fe Pacific, will receive land that contains some of the richest gold deposits in the world.
Looking at her wears me out! Just sayin’
Who controls the house and Senate? Seriously?
You’re not suggesting Lyin Ryan support the president, are you? In the first place, he has about as much loyalty to President Trump, as I have to that bag of garbage I threw out last night. And secondly, the only time he and Yertle the turtle ever show they have a pair, is when they’re strongly insisting they can’t support the president on whatever issue he’s attempting to fix, that might drain a bit of the swamp.
Richard Blume is also associated with a huge construction company that has received many, many billions of dollars of construction contracts building light rail systems, subways, etc. I am pretty sure they are involved in California’s high speed rail system to nowhere.
Do demos ever suggest anything that might would help the American people?
“Off with their heads” said the Red Queen. The Democrats are living down the rabbit hole.
