Former President Barack Obama, on a two-day visit to Chicago that began Sunday, met privately with at-risk young men on the South Side to talk about gang violence, jobs skills and employment, a spokesman said.
The meeting was with participants in a program created by Obama's longtime friend and former education secretary, Arne Duncan — and signified a return to Obama's roots as a community organizer 30 years ago on the South Side.
"He said he grew up during that time because of the work he was doing," Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis said.
Now the former president wants to solicit ideas and information on "how we can turn things around" in areas hit hard by crime....

He just wants to make it look like he gave a shti about young blacks. He’s trying to rewrite his legacy because he knows it sucks.

Here are three ideas/information Mr. Ex-Community Organizer:
1.) Aggressively investigate and prosecute criminal acts.
2.) Convince the community that is preyed on by criminals to assist law enforcement.
3.) Allow law enforcement/courts to do their jobs.
Of course, if you want to let people continue to prey on and victimize their fellow citizens, and the fellow citizens want to demonize the people trying to stop it, then we can't help you. That seems to be your mode of operation anyway, which is in line with your Alinskyite precepts of deliberately making problems worse to increase the pain in the community and foment hate and discontent so they more readily accept "organizing" from scum bags like you.

4. Encourage industry to move into the New Chicago

Yes...”Community Organizers” look at the “retail desert” in high crime areas (which are usually minority populations) and attribute the dearth to racism.
To try to make people like Barack Obama and his ilk believe it is economic, that stores operating on a low margin can’t afford to have their profits eaten away by things like theft and extra security needed, not to mention higher insurance.
That’s when they don’t have to worry about having their windows smashed, stores looted, or personal injury caused when there is unrest of some kind fomented by Barack Obama and his ilk.
It took him a long time to say nothing. He has brain damage.
