There is a reasonable chance that two more Democrat Senate seats could be lost to the GOP when the next Congress convenes.

It looks like deft moves by Trump. This would be good for the GOP. Also Senators wanting to play to the liberal media, McCain and Graham, may become irrelevant.

WV has a Democrat governor, who would appoint a Democrat replacement for Manchin.

McCain and Graham, may become irrelevant.
Or become Democrats, which, I guess, is similar.

Of course not! But I have this eerie feeling, something on the order of “if it’s too good to be true, then it probably is”. More clearly defined, the rats will not give up. Gotta feeling something terrible is going on behind the scenes.
They’ve been on the roll since the 70’s, with only one minor wrench thrown into the works, called Reagan, aside from that, it’s been solid liberalism. They are not going to just sit back while Trump undoes it all.
If Stein’s efforts fizz out, I’m certain they have plans B, C, D and on up until we are crushed like never before.
Thank God for the 2nd Amendment.

Manchin would simply switch to the GOP. This is not unusual. Senator Shelby from Alabama did it long ago; Jeffords switched to the Democrats. Manchin switching to the GOP would assure he’d be senator for as long as he wanted to.

Can he appoint some RINOs like Lindsay Graham and John McCain to something so we can get them out of the Senate too?

Jon Huntsman may be a dark horse for a cabinet appointment. I forgot where I read it, but it’s a recent development.
