Thanks! I was missing you and the other TF members. I was on the thread that started the other day and was wondering why no one posted after my last post - didn’t see this one until a little while ago.

Are we doing 1 thread per week (that’s what I thought I read). Could we add trump as one of the keywords? I always check and read as many of those threads as I can (sometimes forget to check pings - my bad, need to be more diligent about that, though I thought I looked yesterday or the day before).

I hope they have an inaugural ball(s) - I remember W and Laura and the Cheneys going to a few of them - loved seeing the gowns, etc. Bo Derek was a W supporter and was at one of them. LOVED the Texas ball and the cowboy boots with tuxes and gowns. I would think any of the primary balls would include Diamond & Silk, Scott Baio and Steven Baldwin and possibly James Woods (may be other stars that come out of the woodwork).

I remember W’s night before inaugural concert - Ricky Martin sang and then W got up and did a little dance with him. I suspect the inauguration, parade, concert, etc. are YUGE headaches for the USSS.

There was some discussion of keyword a few days ago. I'm sure "trump" and "trumptransition" are used for MANY threads. The keyword question might be resolved, I haven't looked to see what keywords are now in use on these transition threads.

You can always add a keyword of your own choosing. I know I added "trumprallytoday" to at least two rally threads, where the intended keyword had been misspelled.

Varney has been calling Trump’s home at Trump Tower in NYC “Whitehouse North” LOL.

Apparently Tiffany’s, Gucci and a few other high-class stores are near by and they aren’t happy with all of the LEO vehicles, USSS, press, etc. as they feel it’s cutting off their business.

Part of this started b/c *supposedly* Trump was wondering about working in NYC at least part time.

I tried to use "trumptransition" to find this string of threads, and found out that the keyword was useless for that purpose. I got a page of totally unrelated threads. I bet the keyword "trump" has similar broad usage.

I usually bump into the current thread, but only because I spend too much time viewing post activity on FR ;-)

Heheheh. The waking up reading habits sure did change on November 9. No more checking USC/Dornsife, no "election" heading in the internet news aggregator, CNN's unfiltered recitation of DEM talking points much less pressing.
