"Yeah, I think Maine will be a toss-up state this year," said nobody ever.*
As if anyone needed proof that the 2016 election is absolutely bizarre, please see this new Maine People's Resource Center (a liberal think tank) poll that has Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton tied with 37 percent of the vote each. This is a slight improvement from a poll from last week that had Trump within the margin of error behind Clinton.
Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson polled at 11 percent, and Green candidate Jill Stein came in at five. In Maine's 2nd congressional district, Trump has a comfortable lead over Clinton, meaning that he will likely get at least one electoral vote from the Pine Tree State. Maine is one of two states that awards electoral college votes by congressional district, and the overall winner of the state gets an additional two votes...

I’m thinking that Mr. Trump should have Don Jr. and Eric offer to buy up all real estate of those who have PROMISED to leave the country when he’s elected. They could fumigate and flip for a nice little profit. Some, like Schumer’s, would be tear downs, but the land is worth something.
If you watch FOX News long enough, they’ll tell you that Clintoon is up everywhere.
You have to figure a liberal think tank poll would do everything possible to skew it for Clinton.
And they come up dead heat ?...
What’s the big deal with Maine? No one lives there. CA, NY, IL, PA, FL are what counts.
These polls are trending Trump, but every few days, out of the blue, Hitlery is miles ahead! I suspect some good ol’ democrat riggin’ going on.
Maine has been trending GOP for some time now as has Iowa. Trump is going to win Maine’s Second CD & the EV that comes with it, if not the whole state. I hope Trump spends several days in Maine & New Hampshire & gets the 8 EV total both states have.
Fox News and the WSJ are the official mouthpieces of the Cheap Labor Express.
Defeating Trump keeps the Cheap Labor Express running.
2012 => Obama - 55%; Romney - 40%
I realize that many lefties don’t even watch FOX, yet all they do is complain on their blog sites that FOX is in Trump’s back pocket. Outside of Hannity and Lou Dobbs on FOX Business that network constantly bashes Trump. Those “learned” Hillary voters wouldn’t show sh** if you filled up a toilet with it.
It’s because he’s running up the score in the northern district - he’s up in the double digits now. Sabato, Silver, etc have all moved ME-2 to Trump.
It’s odd Trump can even make inroads into the New England such Maine and Rhode Island, but seems to be unable to in Wisconsin and MN. What happens to these two states?
I believe it. Lots of anecdotal evidence from a variety of places. Hillary is getting no enthusiasm. The liberals here love Bernie and loathe Crooked.
Especially after they elected Le Page as Governor, why wouldn’t they voite for Trump?
I’d like to see estimates of what Hillary might sell the nomination for?
At what point is there a seriously diminishing return as we slide into Election Day?
I know this is all unprecedented, but can we put a sum to it? This may well be the Clinton’s last big play for money...I mean hundreds of millions.
The Clinton Foundation runs at a 94% expense ratio.
$500 million is 96,000 hookers at $5,000 per night for Bill! -just say’in.
great deplorable video if you have not seen it yet.

Yes, Maine has been trendding redder than any state in the Gallup survey. It is now Repub +3.7. Why LePage won twice.
Trump chips away at Clinton Minnesota advantage; Poll follows national trend of narrower race

I live there and I am voting for Trump.
In a very close election one EV can matter!
I live in CD-2.
Yup...this is not just a Trump thing. Maine has been moving toward the GOP for years unlike NH...which has certainly moved left for years & is now a purple state leaning democrat.
