I agree. Obama phoned it in in 2012. He was totally disinterested in debating Romney and it showed. If it wasn’t for Candy to bail him out, Obama would have been crushed.
I don’t think you can give Candy all the credit. A feckless pair of opponents helped a lot.
I think Obama's hubris and laziness led him to such a lackluster campaign.
He knew he was going to win. The press was totally in the tank with him and he knew Romney was not there to win so he just went through the motions.
The GOPe selected Romney because they knew he didn't want the Presidency and they all really want what Obama has been doing. The GOPe wants the total destruction of our once-free Nation because they will make billions more before the collapse and then they will just head off to their private islands and live like kings.
I know that profit is good but when a person has so much money that it just becomes a numbers game and they want even more then that total greed destroys nations and people. The ultra rich hide behind "Capitalism" to destroy us as a free nation and thus enslave us for their power and ego.
