Cruz refuses to call his campaign dead. He said in the interview that he might resurrect his campaign if he sees a path towards victory. However, Cruzs campaign has left enough supporters into position of power among the Republican delegates. These supporters can have a substantial impact even if Trump is the sole nominee left.

Ted’s next move—UFC—MMA!
Give me some of the drugs you are taking. I voted for Cruz too in the primary but many of you are starting to lose a grip on reality. Your hate is destroying you.
Welcome to Free Republic.
Thanks Edina!
I won’t even trust him as a dog catcher!
Not only down and dirty but every trick in the book will be played
Probably yes, but he started redacting on almost everything he said. Lost my respect!
He lost a lot of people’s respect. The big 3 was these listed below which has lots of overlap with other things from many comments I have been reading in cyberspace and conversations. These seem to be the major strikes with most GOP voters:
1) Blaming Trump for the violent protests in Chicago which were carried out by the leftist radicals. He needed to defend Trump and bash those loonies.
2) Voting for TPP.
3) Voting for the Corker Amendment which led to the passing of the Iran deal.
It’s amazing how snotty your regard is towards Trump supporters. Straight out of the media talking points. Nobody in their right mind would ever call me a worshiper or member of a personality cult. I’ll wager I’ve seen more ‘personalities” in my time than you and I’ve judged them correctly.
My principles are to defend the constitution and thus the United States of America. God, Country,Family. HONESTY is something too few people respect any more. That I have too, so I’ll not be lumped into some cookie cutter designation spouted by someone like you.
Thanks for the tip Resettozero, Free Republic is definitely unique in its own way!
So, it's Hillary or bust for you principled Ted supporters? That's odd.
Yes, a heartfelt welcome and a very excellent post, especially for a newbie. :)
From the article, “in his first interview after dropping out of the race, he clearly stated that he will not endorse partys presumptive nominee, Donald Trump. He said that there is no chance that he will support Trump”
What a guy! Ted of course feels no obligation at all to stick by his word or the written statement that he signed. Real presidential material; I am sure that no one on the international stage noticed that his word means nothing.
A verrry excellent link to a website unknown to me and to an article written by a female named Evnisha Malani, one of America’s stalwarts in political insight and wisdom, maybe perhaps. OP forgot to list the author’s name; just a newbie, so fresh and...9-days new to FR.
Phooey on this thread.
Beside every trick is the last option and that is an attempt on Donald’s life or someone close to him as a warning to him.
Free Republic is definitely unique in its own way!
A recommendation or a slur?
I find the discussion on Free Republic far better than any discussion forum, I tried reddit but Pro Trump subreddit is just crazy, 15 posts in a minute, no discussions just crazy link posting and memes.
