Correct.
He isn’t cheating.
The system is corrupt.
Rush seemed to be apologizing for the GOPe insider machinations that circumvents the electorate. He really made it sound like a good thing.
Rush was spinnin’ like a top today. He came very, very close to admitting St. Ted is an insider, and also came very close to admitting that if Trump (but not Cruz) loses we will never, ever elect an “outsider.” (Gee, cause St. Ted is an insider).
Yet Rush still pullin’ for St. Ted, the trickster.
Cheater Ashley-Goldman Cruz - the Choice of Tyrants
Go ahead and peacock around proudly then.
If this cheating gets this punk the nomination, then when Hillary and the Democrats show you what real cheating is about, let’s just see what Limbaugh and your big mouths manage to do against them.
Just dont look for us to cry for you.
Hannity, Michael Steele, Pat Buchanan all said on today’s program that Cruz needs the GOP and the GOP needs Cruz and it’s a pact for tyranny. Even rabid Cruz supporters are admitting that the GOP is behind Cruz’s delegate pick-ups.
How many votes did Kasich and Trump get in Colorado??
If rank and file Republicans knew the “system” could be gamed this way, they wouldn’t BE Republicans.
I’m gonna sorta semi agree with you. I don’t think Cruz is cheating, per se. To be entirely honest, the truth is I don’t care who the candidate is - it could be little bunny foo foo for all I care - the fact that any candidate can walk away from Colorado with all the delegates and not one primary vote cast by the actual voters of CO, that is the problem here. The bottom line? The system in CO is designed to favor the establishment, plain & simple. If I were Cruz, I wouldn’t be so excited about winning CO at this point. I would say the same if Trump had won. It’s time to let the voters of CO decide, not the establishment.
Rush is laying the red carpet for Hillary. He knows Hillary would slaughter Cruz.
People should understand that Rush is a Bush Republican, not a conservative.
Bye Rush
Rush Limbaugh philosophy:
So as long as you are winning then you are not cheating.
This is one reason why I gave up listening to this guy a long time ago. After Clinton he became the republican establishment so that he could go to all their country clubs.
Trump is like a pigeon on a chessboard. Instead of playing the game set out before him, he struts about knocking over pieces, crapping on the board and then declares himself the winner.
The winner is NOT the person who gets CLOSEST to 1237. Whether Trump and his supporters like it or not, a candidate must get at least that number. So far Trump is doing very little to win supporters past the first round of voting. So, instead of whining that Cruz is stealing delegates, dont you think that he might ought to think beyond the first round of voting and act accordingly?
The fact that Rush feels it is necessary to constantly remind his audience that Cruz is not establishment tells me that both Rush and Cruz are the establishment.
Has Rush had the courage to come out and say who he voted for?
Ben Domenech of the Federalist writes:
There have been plenty of examples of Ted Cruz being a savvy tactician during the 2016 cycle, but this Colorado disaster for Trump was not one of them, any more than Trump irritating everyone on the abortion issue was Cruzs fault, or Trump driving up his negatives with women to you will never get this rose territory was Cruzs fault.
This is another own-goal where Americas king of the deal seems uninterested in doing the actual work to make the deal happen. Even a modicum of preparation couldve landed Trump several delegates from Colorado instead, he and his team appear uninterested in doing the work everyone has been reporting for weeks that they need to do in order to win.
For their part, the Trump team is vowing to win a delegate majority before the convention. But they have now experienced serious setbacks in South Carolina, Iowa, Indiana, North Dakota, North Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana, South Dakota, and Georgia.
In each of these cases, Trumps setbacks would not have been as significant if he had simply paid attention to how the delegate process works.
