He’s lining up delegates for the second ballot. Don’t be surprised when he’s sworn-in in January. He went from 3% to a big win in is senate race.
Trump is a crony capitalist. He lives off the government.
Maybe Jeff Roe can run some ads that are so slimy, so dishonest, and so disgusting that Trump will commit suicide.
That’d be working Trump’s side of the street. Or are you referencing that discredited story from Missouri?
Cruz won 44% of the vote in Texas with twelve other candidates on the ballot.

So far, nationally Trump has won 37% of the vote. Trump has never won a majority in any state. A 37% plurality was enough to win early open primaries with a dozen other candidates on the ballot. Now, not so much.
If Trump cannot win a clear majority in NY with only two other candidates in the ballot then he can never win a majority anywhere.
Where is it discredited?
If Trump breaks 50% in NY, will Cruz drop out?
Cruz should have still gotten over 50% in his own State!

Trump is the leader. Since when does the leader drop out? Second and third should as soon as it is evident they are not going to win. Kasich should have dropped out after Ohio. Any day now for Cruz but he won’t.
I thought Cruz got below 50% in TX.
Way below: 43% Cruz. Barely more raw votes than Trump got in FLORIDA against a favorite son sitting Senator. LOL.
Dont be surprised when hes sworn-in in January.
LOL. Is Tito’s Vodka a Cruz campaign sponsor now?
I only count 5: Cruz, Trump, Rubio, Carson and Kasich, and Carson and Kasich were both non-factors below 5%. So basically it was a 3-man race like now.
So that's your excuse for Ted Cruz not even getting 45% in Texas? LOL.
For Jeff Roe to say what he said is the height of hypocrisy.
But I'm still reeling from your flip-flop on the Natural Born Citizen issue with respect to Ted Cruz. Your historical tagline demonstrates that, at one point, you didn't even think that Ted Cruz was eligible to be President:
2ndDivisionVet (Don't care if he was born in a manger on July 4th! A "Natural Born" citizen requires two US parents!)
I guess you were focused on 0bama then. Obviously you've "evolved" on that issue. Fortunately for you and Ted Cruz, I think the Courts also disagree with your prior opinion.
But it provides perspective nonetheless.
It was also a 6-way race against McCain, Keyes, Forbes, Bauer and Hatch when George W. Bush won 87% of the vote in the 2000 Texas Republican Primary.
Agreed!
Actually, it was a 13-way race.
The 2016 Texas Republican Primary ballot listed thirteen candidates:
Jeb Bush
Ben Carson
Chris Christie
Ted Cruz
Carly Fiorina
Lindsey Graham
Elizabeth Gray
Mike Huckabee
John R. Kasich
Rand Paul
Marco Rubio
Rick Santorum
Donald J. Trump
Every candidate on the ballot received more than 5,000 votes, except for Christie, Fiorina and Santorum, who each got more than 2,000 votes, and Graham who got just under 2,000 votes. Five candidates (Carson, Cruz, Kasich, Rubio and Trump) received more than 100,000 votes each. Cruz won 44% of the vote, Trump came in a distant second with under 27% of the vote, and the other 11 candidates split the remaining 30% of the vote.

If you just want to count the votes for Cruz, Kasich and Trump, then Cruz got 59% of the vote. Is Trump going to get 59% of the vote in a race with just Cruz, Kasich and Trump?
So far, Trump has never won a majority in any state. If Trump cannot win a clear majority in NY with only two other candidates on the ballot, then he can never win a majority anywhere.

Half a million Texans preferred Rubio to favorite son sitting Senator Ted Cruz. Interesting.
What you don't grasp is that Trump voters aren't going to vote for him under those circumstances so he isn't going to win the General election!
Lyin’ Ted is counting on Diebold and Rancid Preibus to save his lyin’ skin.
Only an ignoramous would think a douche like Cruz would win or place in NY.
