They have also insinuated that GOP voters are unintelligent and need to be schooled in WHO to vote for. They are treating voters in a condescending manner. That is inexcusable.

I wish I could trust Cruz like you obviously do. His ties to big money donors is a problem for me, and his closeness now with Graham, Ryan, and Mitt is VERY troubling. Now I am thinking that Cruz being the “bad guy” against the “Establishment GOP” was a great act.....with the goal to keep the Tea Party lovers of Cruz in with him so the status quo will remain. Reason I say this is it seems to me the ticket they want now is Cruz/Rubio or Cruz/Kasich.
Would it be too difficult to wait until that actually happens before condemning Cruz for it?

The HONEST truth is the evangelicals KNOW how corrupt DC is they follow NOTHING more than the MONEY!!! It is a shame but they have asked for just ONE thing from these BASTARDS DEFUND ABORTION!!!! BUT did they oh hell no!!!!! Evangelicals are FAR more angry than the average voter they have been stripped of their freedom of beliefs, stripped of CHRISTMAS, Stripped Of traditional marriage and THIS IS UNDER GOP rule, they will take their chances with Trump!!!
Unless Trump wins, Trump’s the only one going down, no one else really will. Trump will disrupt everything if he wins and they know it. If Hillary wins, the rest will somehow continue to suck from the big teat or work on K Street.
I heard a talk show host recently explain the GOPe actions.
They’ve lost all the presidential elections in the past 20 years except Bush 2. They are used to losing and being the barely opposing party.
But they are terrified of losing control of the party and the base, which is why they are fighting Trump’s likely takeover of it.
It is rather telling that they are resigned to second place and being just less left than the liberals, instead of fighting for and actively supporting the evangelicals, the working class whites and Tea Party that are their base, the people that they keep making promises to before dissing the people and calling them morons/racists/sexists/evil nationalists/stupid rednecks/flyover country.
They don’t want to win nationally, just comfortably control their opposition corner, because for years the true conservative core had no where else to go. And now they can - to Trump’s camp, to a guy who will truly fight. Cruz, likely, too.
You can see it when the Social Justice Warriors are kicked out of Trump rallies while Sanders gave Black Lives Matter the floor when they intruded. You see it in Milo Yianopolis tour videos in the past few weeks where the audience chants Trump’s name to shout down the SJWs - and WINS. He’s become a rallying cry for the people tired of being demonized for their demographics, their religion, etc.

People who think Trump and Cruz will team up are deluding themselves. Cruz is establishment and making overtures to Romney.
The amazing thing is they/we do know. We all know about the billions of dollars pouring into Republican coffers and we know that cash comes from open-borders, pharmaceuticals, corporate, insurance, oil, etc. We know it but the cronyism is so embedded we don't know what to do about it, until now.
They're panicked over Trump because he won't keep that money flowing. The billionaires won't be able to buy influence. This is their bread and butter and Trump's threatening to take it away.
They know mittens running 3rd party would hand the presidency to hitlery.
