DONALD J. TRUMP RESPONDS TO THE LIES OF SENATOR CRUZ AND WARNS OF LEGAL ACTION
Donald J. trump ^ | 2/15/2016 | Donald J. Trump

Ted Cruz is a totally unstable individual. He is the single biggest liar I've ever come across, in politics or otherwise, and I have seen some of the best of them. His statements are totally untrue and completely outrageous. It is hard to believe a person who proclaims to be a Christian could be so dishonest and lie so much.

Cruz said I would be appointing a liberal judge when in fact I will appoint a great conservative and I am the only candidate who has gone so far, at the debate, as to suggest two individuals I feel would best represent the conservative values we need to protect: William "Bill" Pryor Jr. and Diane Sykes.

Cruz says I am pro-choice, when in fact I am staunchly pro-life and have been for a long time. Like Ronald Reagan, on many issues, I have evolved.

Cruz says I am in favor of ObamaCare, when in fact I have spoken about repealing and replacing this disaster of a system at every speech throughout my campaign and since it's inception. Meanwhile, Cruz was responsible for getting Bush to put in the judge that failed to vote against ObamaCare twice.

The main issue here is whether his character is a sufficient improvement over Hillary's or Bernie's, in case he gets the nomination.

Respectfully, no.

This is the Primary. Trump is not the nominee.

The main issue here is whether his character is better than Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, et al.

It's not.

There is no evidence that Trump has a testimony. And "yes" I can make that judgement. So can you.

We don't agree but there it is.

As I told you earlier, Bad tree --> Bad fruit. I can tell when it's a bad tree, so can you.

I guarantee you: I have examined the candidates. I have made a choice for the Primary. My choice is reasoned and justified.

Facts are stubborn things.

I do not believe Trump is truthful about anything. Look at his track record.

I have no problem with your making a choice. I have a problem with Cruz supporters attempting to characterize other choices or choosers as morally unfit. That’s the long and short of it. I’m not electing a pastor. Nor do I want the future president’s mistakes laid at the door of Christianity. With Trump, that won’t be as much of an issue. I think he can move the ball of protection for Christians against the persecution that now exists in this country and abroad farther down the field than can someone who prides himself on his Christian bona fides, and will be attacked for it accordingly.

OK - I disagree. Here are some thoughts for you to ponder. Some, you may have thought of before. But apparently, not lately.

"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God."

.

"the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without an humble imitation of whose example in these things, we can never hope to be a happy Nation."

.

"In the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior. The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity."

.

"I know there is a Supreme Being who rules the affairs of men and whose goodness and mercy have always followed the American people, and I know He will not turn from us now if we humbly and reverently seek His powerful aid."

.

The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.

.

Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.

.

We have no government armed in power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was written for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.

.

For nothing is hidden that shall not become evident, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to light.

.

To educate a man in mind only, and not in morals, is to educate a menace to society.

.

The American dream is not that every man must be level with every other man. The American dream is that every man must be free to become what God intends he should become.

.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.

.

We have staked the future of all our political institutions upon the capacity of each and all of us. to govern ourselves according to commandments of God. The future and success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which the Constitution is founded.

Put a sock in your preaching. It’s offensively intended; therefore dishonors the scriptures. My salvation is between me and my Lord. Check your pride.
