Almost 10 more months of negativity. I don’t think I can handle that much, too depressing.
Is this the guy who is in charge of telling us who makes sense and who doesn’t? There is a whole lot of us who don’t think the author makes any sense.
To even pretend like Trump will not be the likely winner in the primary as well as the general election requires a special kind of self-delusion.
Added to the list. Hoisting a Mountain Dew to toast their tears on President Trump’s inauguration day. Both of ‘em.
Could Trump actually pull this off? Could he become president?
I’m going to stake out a firm answer: no.

Well if it gets to that with Trump as the GOP candidate then say
‘hello Madam President’
Author: “I’ve been completely wrong about Trump since June, but trust me, I’m right now!”
Dude, really? You’re posting crap from VOX now???
I guess you really have scraped the bottom of the barrel.
No! Wait! There’s still salon, slate and huffpo down there to scrape out too.
Trump has 40% in polling but 60% negative opinion. Of course, this country loves the Kardashians...
I supported McCain..he lost. I supported Romney..he lost. I said to my wife, I'm doing this myself.
Donald Trump
Rally in Sioux Center IA January 23, 2016
What if Trump and Cruz cancel each other out. They hit each other harder and harder and pretty soon they are both damaged.
The author just wanted to say “black swan” and “concatenation.”
Except for generals, we’ve never elected someone who has never held any public office.
well, if the election were today Trump would probably win. he can Certainly beat Hillary hands-down (and I think he could beat Bernie the Red)
and there does not seem to be a derailment in sight
[So to win, Trump will have to reach out to moderates or independents or white-collar professionals or Latinos or college-educated women or ... some other demographic.]
So, isn’t that happening right now? Doesn’t he poll very well with blacks and Hispanics, moderates, independents and even democrats?
[And that’s Trump (who, not coincidentally, refuses to shake hands for fear of germs).]
I guess they haven’t been watching him on the campaign trail shaking hands.
I am pretty sure he’s right but only because, historically, the way the political establishment deals with populists is with a lone gunman or a mysterious plane crash.
Hillary = inevitable
Liberal logic.
Just angry white men he appeals to. Yet the picture of him signing autographs at a rally shows six people in focus. Four are white, one is African American, Actually mixed race like Obama, and the other is Asian.
As a side note all those old white men where really five woman and one guy. None looked especially old either. None where as old as the Democrat Candidates.
The same might have been said about candidate Obama in 2008.
