No, I was right there, commenting like others on the debate thread during it. Cruz made Trump look like an idiot, and if Ted wasn't such a gentleman, could of made it even worse.

Poll numbers are the best indicator — debates might have helped Cruz reach Top Two, but not enough to get him over the top nationally.
Still, those two ought to debate each other head-to-head, no-holds-barred, no moderator, fair-time — computerized time allotments.
