This is a huge intellectual challenge:
Laurence Tribe v Ted Cruz.
Taking down Tribe could help strengthen constitutional interpretation, and Cruz might be the only one capable of completely discrediting him.
‘... the U.S. senator from Texas was asked what he thought of Trump citing Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe’s analysis that Cruz might be ineligible to be president...’
Rush has repeatedly hammered away at Professor Tribe — one of the most respected progessive sophist-leaders among the Ruling Class [and an arch-foe of the US Constitution].
Yes, Cruz is undoubtedly far smarter than Tribe, but Trump was right to quote Tribe because the man is so respected [beyond reason] that he gets way with all kinds of things and has spread venom in DC for decades with his constitutional opinions.
Until Tribe is discredited during this primary, Cruz has a problem, and an unfair one at that.
Thought you miight find this interesting. While we all loathe and disagree with Professor Laurence Tribe and Cruz mocks him, still, Tribe must be deconstructed before the field is cleared for Cruz to be eligible by national consensus.
