I think endorsements don't matter this time around. People understand how dire the
times, and only the strongest person on the most important issues can win. Following
someone else's lead will count for nothing in these times of catastrophe. If a person is
thought to be the tough one to sweep away the political crap, then that person will be
elected. Is that person Cruz? I don't think so. Is that person Trump? Undoubtedly. And I
say this not as a cheerleader, but as an observer.

According to some posters, only recent conservative convert Trump is a real conservative. Endorsements of Cruz by longtime, real conservatives do not count.
The former Clinton apologist, fund raiser, and ("Hillary'd make a great president") Clinton supporter is apparently a very deeply committed conservative, they say.
