I think endorsements don't matter this time around. People understand how dire the
times, and only the strongest person on the most important issues can win. Following
someone else's lead will count for nothing in these times of catastrophe. If a person is
thought to be the tough one to sweep away the political crap, then that person will be
elected. Is that person Cruz? I don't think so. Is that person Trump? Undoubtedly. And I
say this not as a cheerleader, but as an observer.

Endorsements very much matter. That is why Ted Cruz shot to the top in Iowa right after he got the endorsements of Steve King and all the other powerful conservatives in Iowa.
