If you had to vote in your state primary/caucus today, knowing what you know now about the various declared and probable candidates, who would you vote for? Why? Who would you like to see as the running mate for your preferred candidate? If you could help staff your candidates cabinet and other top appointments, who would you choose? If you could recommend different congressional leaders than we have now, who would they be? And who would you like to see on the Supreme Court and why? And finally, feel free to donate to Free Republic.

I vote for Cruz in the primary but I will crawl over broken glass if necessary to vote against Hillary Clinton! Anyone who stays home in this upcoming election will be antiAmerican!!! WE CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER CLINTON in the White House!!

don't understand how they figure Cruz would get any crossover votes without which a Republican candidate can not win...Agreed. The ultra conservatives help the Democrats win every election by being too pure to vote for a centrist when there really is no other viable choice. It is a kind of self-righteousness that is deplorable. Jesus gave us all permission to render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's -- we're not electing a pope or a chaplain; we're electing a business leader, commander-in-chief and coach.

A vote for Cruz in the primary is a vote for Hillary or Bernie. Please do not mistake your personal convictions for the will of the People, who have been dumbed down, brainwashed, indoctrinated and bullied to death by the Establishment. It will be all they can do to get to the polls, which somehow will be shown to be an "unsafe space" if the populace continues to show interest in voting for either Cruz or Trump.
It is Trump's liberal past that will give him enough swing votes to actually win the general. Cruz is 30 years younger than The Donald and never grew up under the freedoms that Trump and other older Americans remember from having actually experienced them. That kind of freedom of speech and thought and free enterprise is what is fueling Trump's confidence -- it's not just a theory of constitutional law and free markets to him -- he actually lived it. He wants it back for his kids and all of our young people.
If you are actually interested in uniting, unite yourself to the groundswell for Trump, whose depth and breadth of practical experience with "building things" cannot be matched by Cruz. Take a look at the vast scope of his business activities and holdings around the world, which have involved him in dealings with governments, politicians, power brokers, regulators, law and lawyers, international issues and rabid opponents as well as the complexities of structural engineering, utilities, and many, many aspects of finance, taxation and economics, and the fundamentals of serving the public, since real estate is about people -- where they live, where they work, where they do business and where they vacation. Remember than he has written dozens of books as well.
He has manifestly been a good father whose grown children are a credit to him and have all become not only millionaires from their own business activities, but are also very active in charities. He expresses nothing but love and admiration for his parents. Because his one brother died young from alcoholism, he does not drink, smoke or do drugs, and neither do his children. His sister is a Federal judge. He is no mere "reality tv star." That was just a drop in the bucket.
